For a cozy and active holiday in the Kitzbühel Alps and Hohe Tauern National Park, the Dorfhotel Kaltenhauser is a suitable accommodation, convincing with its location amidst a fabulous mountain panorama, waiting to be discovered with cable cars, hiking trails, ski slopes, and mountain bike trails. The hotel is located approx. 50 m from the picturesque center with further shopping and strolling opportunities. Kitzbüheleralpen Panorama Gondola Lift approx. 800m, providing direct access to the Kitzbühel ski area with 196 km of ski slopes of all difficulty levels. Free ski bus at the hotel. Cross-country ski trail approx. 100m. Ski rental Sport Steger approx. 800m. Hotel guests receive a 10% discount at the ski rental.

The hotel follows the motto "Family-Individual-Different" and is designed for discerning and sporty active guests as well as families. A total of 41 rooms are available, decorated in retro style with many wood elements and rustic design. The double rooms Type L have been renovated and are designed to be more modern and brighter. For culinary enjoyment as part of the All Inclusive program, the restaurant "Taverne" offers dishes from traditional family recipes of Austrian cuisine, as well as creative and fresh products. Those who want to indulge in relaxing moments will find themselves well looked after in the Feng Shui garden or the indoor pool with sauna area. For refreshment on hot summer days, the natural swimming lake Hollersbach also provides. Free Wi-Fi is available to guests throughout the hotel.

The double rooms of the "Retro" type are equipped with a double bed, shower, toilet, hairdryer, cable TV, radio, telephone, safe (free of charge), Wi-Fi, bathrobe, seating area, and balcony (approx. 20-24m², D).

Double Room Type L

The renovated and modern double rooms "Type L" are designed for 2 adults and 1 child and offer a double bed, sofa bed, bathtub or shower, separate toilet, seating area, and balcony (approx. 32-40m², D2X).

Single Room "Retro"

The "Retro" single rooms are smaller, have a single bed, and are otherwise equipped similarly to the "Retro" double rooms (approx. 15m², E).

Family Room "Retro"

The 2-room family rooms are also in the "Retro" style without a balcony and offer guests a master bedroom with a double bed and a separate living/sleeping area with a connecting door and a double pull-out sofa. There is also a seating area and a bathroom with shower/toilet (approx. 40m², DF2).

Notice

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in Salzburg state from May 1, 2025, there is a new charge, the "Mobility Tax".
