Location

Nestled amidst tropical vegetation and directly on a kilometre-long sandy beach, the resort is approximately a 25-minute drive from Playa del Carmen and about a 20-minute drive from Tulum. The beautiful sandy beach is protected by a coral reef offshore. The Riviera Maya Golf Club is located within the resort. It is particularly popular with families.

The beautiful and extensive hotel complex features 720 rooms, 1 buffet restaurant, 4 specialty restaurants (gourmet, Mexican, Japanese, and Italian), 1 snack bar, 5 bars, 1 pool with integrated whirlpools, sun loungers and umbrellas, a spa and fitness centre, a piano bar, towel service at the pool and beach, an amphitheatre for diverse entertainment and shows, 5 tennis courts, a water and diving sports centre on the beach, and a currency exchange. The Junior Suites are decorated in a Caribbean-Mexican style and feature a bathroom with a whirlpool/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, coffee machine, safe, Wi-Fi, 2 full-size beds or 1 king-size bed, and a balcony or terrace (JU2/JU1).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). When occupied by 2 adults + 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

No smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all public areas in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased presence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, a greater amount of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period, affecting the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are, of course, endeavouring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of equipment that may produce a slight noise level.
