Location

The resort is located on the east coast of the Dominican Republic, directly on the fine, white sandy beach of Bavaro. The town center, Downtown Bavaro, with its shops, restaurants, and bars, is about a 10-minute drive away. The transfer time is approximately 35 minutes.

The Royalton Bavaro has 730 modern rooms spread across 4 floors. Comfortably furnished, the hotel features a lobby with a 24-hour reception, elevators, a souvenir shop, a shopping arcade, a boutique, a casino, and a hairdresser. A variety of gourmet restaurants serving Asian, international, local, Mediterranean, Mexican, regional, Spanish, seafood, grilled dishes, sushi, as well as gluten-free options and children's menus, will spoil you at the highest level. The various bars offer a selection of drinks.
In the outdoor area, the hotel complex features 6 pools with a spacious sun terrace, loungers, and umbrellas (included). Furthermore, the hotel offers a 9-hole mini-golf course, a surf simulator called FlowRider, and a Lazy River over 365m long, which leads you past waterfalls and water slides to a swim-up bar hidden in a cave.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). With a occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period, which affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the local authorities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can generate some noise.
