Location

The resort is located on the east coast of the Dominican Republic, directly on the fine, white sandy beach of Bavaro. The town center, Downtown Bavaro, with its shops, restaurants, and bars, is approximately a 10-minute drive away. The transfer time is approximately 35 minutes.

The Royalton Bavaro has 730 modern rooms spread across 4 floors. Comfortably furnished, the hotel features a lobby with a 24-hour reception, elevators, a souvenir shop, a shopping arcade, a boutique, a casino, and a hairdresser. A variety of gourmet restaurants offering Asian, international, local, Mediterranean, Mexican, regional, Spanish, seafood, grilled dishes, sushi, as well as gluten-free options and children's menus, will spoil you at the highest level. The various bars offer a selection of drinks.
The outdoor area of the hotel complex features 6 pools with a spacious sun terrace, loungers, and umbrellas (included). Furthermore, the hotel offers a 9-hole mini-golf course, a surf simulator called FlowRider, and a Lazy River over 365m long, which leads you past waterfalls and water slides to a swim-up bar hidden in a cave.

With the same amenities, this suite features a living/sleeping area with a dining table and kitchen with a bar, as well as a separate bedroom. The Diamond Club is already included with this room.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, an increased occurrence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, a higher presence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can cause some noise.
