Location

The luxurious resort is located directly on a long sand and pebble beach. It is approximately 900 m to Platanias, and the center of Chania with its numerous shopping and entertainment venues is about 12 km away. Chania Airport is approx. 24 km away, and Heraklion Airport is about 150 km away. A bus stop is within walking distance.

The hotel and bungalow complex has a total of 266 rooms, distributed across 2 buildings connected by a bridge. Facilities include an entrance area with reception and seating, an internet corner, 4 restaurants, 4 bars, a wine cellar with a large selection, a TV/video room, a mini-market, a jeweler, and a spa center. In the garden area, there are 4 freshwater swimming pools with 2 whirlpools as well as a pool/snack bar. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are included at both the pool and the beach. Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire complex.

Accommodation

Double room

The double rooms are located in the main building, are tastefully furnished, and feature a bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, safe, smart TV, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, slippers, welcome package upon arrival, coffee/tea making facilities, turn-down service, and a balcony facing the land side (D). Optionally bookable for single use (DE) or with pool view (PD).

Double room Imperial

These have the same facilities as the double rooms but are located in the Imperial building (DA). Also optionally available with partial sea view (AMS).

Double room Imperial private pool

With the same facilities as the Imperial double rooms, these rooms can be booked with access to a private pool (PPZ).
The private pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We request careful behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Bungalows Type A

These have the same facilities as the double rooms, with 2 single beds or a double bed with an additional sofa bed, but are somewhat more spacious and located in the bungalow buildings (B2A).

Bungalow private pool

With the same facilities as the bungalows, these additionally feature access to a private pool (2PX).
The private pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We request careful behavior and special attention when using this area.

Meals

Breakfast/Half board/Full board

Breakfast from 7:30-10:30 in buffet form at the "Elia" restaurant.
With half board, an additional dinner in buffet form from 19:00-21:30.
Full board includes an additional lunch à la carte or in buffet form.
Drinks during lunch/dinner are subject to a charge.
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner.
