The luxurious resort is located directly on a long sand and pebble beach. It is approximately 900 m to Platanias, and the center of Chania with its numerous shopping and entertainment options is about 12 km away. Chania Airport is approx. 24 km away, and Heraklion Airport is about 150 km away. A bus stop is within walking distance.

The hotel and bungalow complex has a total of 266 rooms spread across 2 buildings, which are connected by a bridge. Facilities include a lobby area with reception and seating, internet corner, 4 restaurants, 4 bars, a wine cellar with a large selection, TV/video room, mini-market and jeweler, as well as a spa center. In the garden area, there are 4 freshwater swimming pools with 2 whirlpools as well as a pool/snack bar. Sun loungers, parasols, and pool towels are included both at the pool and on the beach. Wi-Fi is available throughout the complex.

Accommodation

Double Room

The double rooms are located in the main building, are tastefully furnished, and feature a bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, safe, smart TV, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, slippers, a welcome package upon arrival, coffee/tea-making facilities, turn-down service, and a balcony on the land side (D). Also available for single occupancy (DE) or with pool view (PD).

Double Room Imperial

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are located in the Imperial building (DA). Also available with side sea view (AMS).

Double Room Imperial Private Pool

With the same amenities as the Imperial double rooms, these rooms can be booked with access to a private pool (PPZ).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, schauinsland-reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types.

Bungalows Type A

These have the same amenities as the double rooms, with 2 single beds or a double bed with an additional sofa bed, but are somewhat more spacious and located in the bungalow buildings (B2A).

Bungalow Private Pool

With the same amenities as the bungalows, these also feature access to a private pool (2PX).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.

Breakfast/Half board/Full board

Breakfast from 7:30-10:30 in buffet form at the "Elia" restaurant.
With half board, an additional dinner in buffet form from 19:00-21:30.
Full board includes an additional lunch à la carte or in buffet form.
During lunch/dinner, drinks are available for an extra charge.
We kindly ask for appropriate attire during dinner.

Note regarding Climate Resilience Fee
