This family-run hotel, which welcomes guests from the age of 12, is located amidst an authentic Cretan setting in Malia. Surrounded by lush gardens and just a few steps from shopping opportunities, it offers a central location. The town center of Malia can be reached in approximately 1.5 km, and the beautiful sandy beach is about 150 m away. Heraklion Airport is approximately 32 km from the hotel. A bus stop is within walking distance.

The comfortable hotel complex is bookable as a Schauinsland-Reisen-Original for guests aged 12 and over and comprises a total of 48 rooms. Facilities include a 24-hour reception with a lobby, a lounge area with a fireplace, and a mini-library. The restaurant features an outdoor area and an open-plan kitchen with show cooking. The offer is complemented by a bar (11 a.m. – 11 p.m.). In addition to the drinks at the bar, a drinking fountain with spring-fresh water is available.
The newly designed outdoor area features a freshwater swimming pool and a sun terrace with comfortable lounges and loungers, which invite you to relax. A small orchard with fig and pomegranate trees completes the ambiance. Bath towels can be borrowed free of charge. Sun loungers and parasols are included at the pool; these are available for a fee at the sandy beaches of Malia. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel premises.

The friendly and modernly furnished rooms feature a shower/WC, toiletries, hairdryer, and a king-size bed or two single beds. Further amenities include individually adjustable air conditioning and a ceiling fan, telephone, 32'' flat-screen TV, safe, coffee/tea station (replenished daily), Nespresso machine (two capsules per day included), mini-fridge, and balcony or terrace (DSU).

Destination information

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government will levy a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
