Location

The family-run hotel, which welcomes guests aged 12 and over, is set amidst an authentic Cretan backdrop in Malia. Surrounded by lush gardens and just a short stroll from shops, it offers a central location. Malia town centre is approximately 1.5 km away, and the beautiful sandy beach is about 150 m away. Heraklion Airport is around 32 km from the hotel. A bus stop is within walking distance.

This comfortable hotel complex, a schauinsland-reisen original available for guests aged 12 and over, comprises a total of 48 rooms. Facilities include a 24-hour reception with a lobby, a lounge area with a fireplace, and a mini-library. The restaurant features an outdoor seating area and an open-plan kitchen with show cooking. The offering is complemented by a bar (11 am–11 pm). In addition to drinks at the bar, fresh spring water is available from a fountain.
The newly designed outdoor area boasts a freshwater swimming pool and a sun terrace with comfortable loungers and sunbeds for relaxation. A small fruit garden with figs and pomegranates completes the ambiance. Beach towels can be borrowed free of charge. Sunbeds and umbrellas are included by the pool; they are available for a fee on Malia's sandy beaches. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel complex.

The friendly and modernly furnished rooms feature a shower/WC, toiletries, hairdryer, and a king-size bed or two single beds. Further amenities include individually adjustable air conditioning and a ceiling fan, telephone, 32'' flat-screen TV, safe, coffee/tea station (replenished daily), Nespresso machine (two capsules per day included), mini-fridge, and a balcony or terrace (DSU).
Available at an extra charge with pool view (DSP), for single use (DSE), or for triple occupancy (DAS).

Breakfast (7:30 am–10:30 am, for early risers upon request) and dinner (6:30 pm–9 pm) are served buffet-style with live cooking stations. Gluten-free options are available.

Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 1 January 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which is payable by the guest on site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 1 January 2025, will be tiered from €0.50 to €15 per day and room.
