Location

The family-run hotel is situated amidst an authentic Cretan setting in Malia, surrounded by lush gardens and just a few steps from shops. The beautiful sandy beach is approx. 150 m away. Heraklion Airport is approx. 32 km from the hotel.

This comfortable schauinsland-reisen original hotel complex for guests aged 12 and over offers 48 rooms and features a reception (24-hour) with a lobby, a lounge area with a fireplace, a mini library, Wi-Fi (included throughout the complex), a restaurant with outdoor seating and an open-plan kitchen with show cooking, as well as a bar (11 am-11 pm). In addition to drinks at the bar, the hotel offers a drinking fountain with fresh spring water. The newly designed outdoor area features a freshwater swimming pool, a sun terrace with comfortable lounge areas and sun loungers inviting relaxation, and a small orchard with figs and pomegranates. Pool/beach towels are available free of charge. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool; sun loungers and umbrellas are offered by third-party providers on the sandy beaches of Malia (for a fee).

Destination information for climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from January 1, 2025, is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euros per day per room.
For stays in high season from April 1 to October 31:
National Category 1-2 Stars: 2 Euros
National Category 3 Stars: 5 Euros
National Category 4 Stars: 10 Euros
National Category 5 Stars: 15 Euros
For stays in low season from November 1 to March 31:
