Location

The stylish Alexander Beach Hotel & Village Resort is situated on the north coast of Crete, directly on a long, gently sloping sandy beach awarded the "Blue Flag," between the holiday resorts of Malia and Stalis. The complex is located in a quiet beachfront setting, while restaurants, bars, and shopping facilities are within a few minutes' walk. The centre of Stalis is only about 1 km away and is easily reachable on foot. Malia is approximately 2 km away. Heraklion Airport is located about 30 km west of the hotel. The island's capital, Heraklion, and the port city of Agios Nikolaos are each about 33 km away.

The 5-star resort features a total of 359 rooms, spread across a main building and several annex buildings. Facilities include a 24-hour reception, a mini-market, a jeweler, and various gastronomic venues. These include the "Alexandros" main restaurant, a Mediterranean restaurant, the main bar, the sushi bar, and the beach club. In addition, an Italian à-la-carte restaurant and the Asian restaurant "Lemon Grass" open for dinner.
Since the summer of 2026, the resort has expanded its culinary offerings with the new "Alexander Plaza," featuring a modern dining and wine area, a newly designed bar, a family restaurant, and the "Olivia" trattoria.
In the extensive grounds, there are four freshwater pools, spacious sun terraces, and a separate children's pool. Refreshments are provided by a pool bar with snacks and the "Apollo Cocktail Bar." Sun loungers, parasols, and pool towels are available to guests free of charge at both the pools and the beach.
Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire complex.

Accommodation

Comfort Room

The rooms are stylishly and comfortably furnished with a marble bathroom with bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, and toiletries. They are also equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning, a safe, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), refrigerator (one bottle of water daily), electric kettle with coffee and tea (replenished daily), and a balcony or terrace with seating (D/DA). Upon arrival, a bottle of water, wine, and Cretan pastries are provided.
Optionally bookable with sea view (DM/DMI) or as a Comfort Beachfront room (D2W) for an extra charge.

Single Room

Double Room Luxury Superior

These beautiful, spacious rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms, with the addition of a seating area, an extra-wide glass sliding door with mosquito netting, and garden view (DSU/DSI).
Also optionally bookable as a Double Room Luxury Superior Beachfront, located directly on the sea (RF2/I2T), for an extra charge.

Junior Suite Beachfront

These particularly comfortable accommodations offer the same amenities as the Comfort rooms, with the addition of a separate WC and a Nespresso machine. They consist of a combined living/sleeping area and are located in a preferred position in the Village area, directly on the beach, with a private garden, sun loungers, and direct sea view (JB2).
A selection of fruit is included upon arrival, and pool towels are provided in the room.

Family Room Garden View

The family rooms consist of a combined living/sleeping area and are otherwise identical to the double rooms, with a view of the garden (DF2). The family rooms can be located in either the main building or the Village area.

Premium Family Room

The premium family rooms have the same amenities as the Family rooms with garden view, plus an additional separate bedroom with garden view (2FZ).
Optionally bookable with sea view (2ZF) for an extra charge.

In addition to the amenities of the Superior double rooms, these suites offer more elegant furnishings and a separate living/sleeping area with a Nespresso machine and garden view (S2).
Optionally bookable with direct sea view in a preferred location (S2M) for an extra charge.
A selection of fruit is included upon arrival, and pool towels are provided in the room.

Deluxe Bungalow Suite Artemis Private Pool

These elegant rooms offer the same amenities as the Junior suites Beachfront, with a visual partition and, instead of a private garden, a furnished terrace with a private pool and direct beach access (2WW).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, a minimum age of 6 years applies for bookings of these room types.

Dream Villa Athene 2 Bedrooms Beachfront Private Pool

The villas feature the same amenities as the suites, are located directly on the sea (Seafront), and have two separate bedrooms and a private pool (only bookable upon request, 2V2). A selection of fruit is included upon arrival, and pool towels are provided in the room.
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.

Dream Villa Aphrodite 2 Bedrooms Beachfront Private Pool

The Presidential villas are a replica of typical Cretan stone houses. They offer the same basic amenities as the suites, plus two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living area. Beyond the spacious design, the large, private infinity pool, direct access to the beach, and the magnificent view are highlights of this room (only bookable upon request, V2P).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.

Breakfast/Half board/Full board

Breakfast (7:15-11:00) and dinner (18:30-21:30) in buffet style with show cooking.
6x per week evening theme buffets.
If half board is booked, a choice between lunch and dinner is included in addition to breakfast.
If full board is booked, lunch is also provided as a menu or buffet.
Once per stay, dinner can be taken à la carte at the Italian trattoria "Olivia" (valid for summer 2026).

Destination information: Climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and, as of January 1, 2025, ranges from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room.
For stays in the high season (April 1 to October 31):
