The stylish hotel complex Alexander Beach, located 32 km east of Heraklion, is situated directly on the 800 m long, gently sloping sandy beach awarded with the Blue Flag.

The 5-star resort has 359 rooms in a main building and several annexes, offering a 24-hour reception, high-speed Wi-Fi (included), a mini-market, jeweler, a main restaurant, main bar, tavern, lounge bar, as well as the "Beach Club & Restaurant". Additionally, there is an Italian restaurant (dinner) and the Asian restaurant "Lemon Grass". For Summer 2026, the dining and wine area "Alexander Plaza", with a renovated bar, a family restaurant, and the trattoria "Oliva", will open. In the outdoor area, there are also 4 freshwater pools, large sun terraces, and a children's pool, as well as a pool bar with sushi and the Apollo Cocktail Bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and on the beach. Bath towels are available free of charge for guests.

Accommodation

Comfort Room with Garden View

The rooms are stylishly and comfortably furnished with a marble bathroom with bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), refrigerator, kettle with coffee and tea, and a balcony or terrace with seating (D/DA). Upon arrival, a bottle of water, wine, Cretan pastries, slippers, and a bathroom set will be waiting for you. A bottle of water is included daily, and coffee/tea is also replenished daily.
Available at an additional charge with sea view (DM/DMI) or as a Comfort Room Beachfront (D2W).

Luxury Superior Double Room

These beautiful, spacious rooms, with the same amenities as the double rooms, feature an additional seating area, extra-wide glass sliding door with mosquito protection, and garden view (DSU).
Available at an additional charge as a Luxury Superior Double Room Beachfront (RF2), located directly by the sea.

Junior Suite Beachfront

These particularly comfortable accommodations, with the same amenities as the Comfort Rooms, additionally feature a coffee/tea station, Nespresso machine, mineral water (daily and included), separate WC, consist of a combined living/sleeping area, and are in a prime location in the Village area, directly on the beach, with a private garden, sun loungers, and direct sea view (JB2).
A selection of fruit is included upon arrival, and pool towels are provided in the room.

Family Room Garden View

The family rooms, otherwise equipped like the double rooms, consist of a combined living/sleeping area and face the garden (DF2). The family rooms can be located in either the main building or the Village area.

Premium Family Room

The Premium Family Rooms, otherwise equipped like the double rooms, consist of a combined living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom with garden view (2FZ). Available at an additional charge with sea view (2ZF).
The family rooms can be located in either the main building or the Village area.

Premium Suite Garden View

In addition to the amenities of the Superior Double Rooms, the suites feature more elegant furnishings and a separate living/sleeping area, as well as a coffee/tea maker, Nespresso machine, and mineral water (daily refill, included, S2).
Available at an additional charge with direct sea view in a prime location (S2M).
A selection of fruit is included upon arrival, and pool towels are provided in the room.

Dream Villa Athene 2 Bedrooms Beachfront priv. Pool

The villas have the same amenities as the suites and are located directly on the sea (Seafront), featuring 2 separate bedrooms and a private pool (only bookable on request, 2V2). A selection of fruit is included upon arrival, and pool towels are provided in the room.
The private pool is not supervised. Please pay special attention to your children when using this area and behave considerately.

Dream Villa Aphrodite 2 Bedrooms Beachfront priv. Pool

The Presidential Villas are a replica of typical Cretan stone houses. They have the same basic amenities as the suites, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a living area. In addition to the spacious design, the large, private infinity pool, direct beach access, and the magnificent view will exceed your expectations (only bookable on request, V2P).

Deluxe Bungalow Suite Artemis priv. Pool

The elegant rooms, with the same amenities as the Junior Suites Beachfront, feature a visual separation and instead of a private garden, a furnished terrace with a private pool and direct beach access (2WW).
The private pool is not supervised. Please pay special attention to your children when using this area and behave considerately.

Meals

Breakfast/Half Board/Full Board

Breakfast (7:15 AM - 11 AM) and dinner (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM) are served as a buffet with show cooking.
6 themed buffets are offered each week for dinner.
Guests with half board can choose between lunch or dinner. Full board includes lunch with a choice of menu. Once per stay, dinner can be enjoyed à la carte at the Italian trattoria "Oliva".
Smart casual dress code is required for dinner.

Sports included

2 tennis courts, beach volleyball, table tennis, basketball, aerobics, yoga and Pilates classes, water aerobics, and a large professional fitness center.

Note on Climate Resilience Fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, payable by guests on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and ranges from €0.50 to €15 per day per room starting from January 1, 2025.
For stays during the high season from April 1 to October 31:
