Location

The popular hotel Knossos Beach Bungalow and Suites is located directly on the fine sandy beach. The town of Kokkini Hani with its shopping and entertainment options can be reached after approx. 400m. A public bus connection is in the immediate vicinity.

Amenities

The hotel complex, built in the Cretan style, has a total of 162 rooms, distributed across a main building and several bungalow buildings, as well as an annex building on the opposite side of the street. The hotel offers a lobby with a reception and seating area, internet corner (for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), a main restaurant, 2 à la carte restaurants, and a lobby bar. The new spa area is available to guests with a large selection of massages and treatments (for a fee). In the outdoor area, there are three swimming pools and a pool/snack bar. Sun loungers and sunshades are included at the pool and beach. A beach bar is also available.

Double room

Features a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, care products, vanity mirror, bathrobes, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning/heating (included), Wi-Fi (included), telephone, safe, satellite TV, mini-fridge, coffee/tea maker, Nespresso machine (daily replenishment included), as well as a balcony or terrace, and are located in the main building (D). Optionally bookable as Type A in the annex building "Knossos Boutique", located opposite the main building (approx. 50 m away) (DA).

Bungalow Waterfront

Features bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, care products, vanity mirror, bathrobes, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning/heating (included), Wi-Fi, telephone, safe, satellite TV, mini-fridge, coffee/tea maker, Nespresso machine (daily replenishment included), and a terrace, and is located directly by the sea (BW2).

Comfort Double room

The Comfort double rooms offer the same features as the double rooms, are located in the annex building on the other side of the street, and consist of a living/bedroom with a single bed and a sofa bed and a separate bedroom with a double bed (2CD).

Suite

The spacious suites feature the same amenities as the bungalows, plus higher-quality furnishings with large closets, full-length mirror, electronic safe, balcony doors with double safety glazing with "Beach Cabana," and consist of a spacious, combined living/bedroom (S2). Optionally bookable with side (2SS) or direct sea view (S2M).

Features the same amenities as the suites, but is located directly by the sea (2SW, without "Beach Cabana").

Features the same amenities as the suites, plus sunshades and sun loungers on the balcony, and is located directly by the sea (2WS).

With a minimum stay of 5 nights, guests have the opportunity to have dinner once per stay at the à la carte restaurant "Swell" or "Si La" (set menu, with reservation).

Destination information

For stays from 1.1.2018, the Greek government will levy a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
