Location

This small bungalow complex is located directly on the long sandy/pebble beach of Kavros and approximately 4 km from Georgioupolis. Shops and entertainment facilities are nearby. Rethymnon with its beautiful old town is about 20 km away. Chania Airport is approx. 50 km, Heraklion Airport approx. 100 km away.

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel consists of a main building and several outbuildings, has 125 rooms, a 24-hour reception, a lounge with a TV corner, and a main restaurant. Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex.
The garden area has a pool/snack bar and 2 pools, one of which has an integrated children's pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included on the sun terrace and available at the beach for a fee (included for AI guests, beach towels for a deposit).

Accommodation

Double Room Superior

The modernly furnished rooms have a walk-in shower/WC, telephone, satellite TV, safe, air conditioning, refrigerator, and a balcony or terrace. The rooms are located in both the main building and the outbuildings (DSU, can be booked for 2 people).
Available with half board as type C (DC), as a super-saver room located in the main building (land view, 2US, can be booked for 2 people), or for an additional charge as an additional contingent type B (DSB, located in an outbuilding or the main building, can be booked for 2 people).
Also available for an additional charge with a side (D2S, can be booked for 2 people) or direct sea view (DMU, can be booked for 2 people). The double room superior can also be booked for three people as a double room superior type O (DOZ).

Single Room

Are double rooms superior for single occupancy (DSE/UB1/DAE).

Double Room Deluxe

Like double room superior, but newly furnished, with higher quality amenities, and located on the ground floor. They also feature tile and marble flooring, flatscreen TV (incl. German channels), safe, coffee/tea station (replenished daily), kettle, a bottle of water and wine upon arrival, and a furnished terrace with a sunshade and 2 sun loungers (DD2, can be booked for 2 people).
Reserved Bali beds on the beach are available only for guests of these rooms, subject to availability.
Also available for single occupancy (DD1).

Family Room Superior

Have the same amenities as the double rooms superior, but with a separate bedroom and located in the main building or outbuildings (F2U).

Maisonette

Located in the main building with a view towards the landside of the Lefka Ori mountains, these rooms have a double bed in the lower area and 2 additional single beds in the upper area, accessible via a wooden staircase. The large bathroom with a hydromassage shower has a hairdryer, magnifying mirror, and toiletries. The rooms are also equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning, satellite TV with music channel, telephone, safe, and balcony (M2).

Breakfast and dinner served buffet-style. Drinks are available for a fee.
Gluten- and lactose-free meals are available upon request. Please contact the reception on-site.
Appropriate attire is expected for dinner (gentlemen with long trousers, no swimwear, etc.).

Breakfast from 7:30 AM to 10 AM, late breakfast from 10 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, served buffet-style.
Snacks are available from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM and from 11 PM to midnight. Ice cream and pastries are available from 4 PM to 5:30 PM.
Local and international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included from 10 AM to midnight at the respective open bar.
Additionally, sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the beach.

Note for climate resilience levy
