Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. Route description:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 a.m. (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Once you arrive, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
On the balcony of the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) than the suites with otherwise identical amenities, but may not have a French balcony and seating area, and may have a non-opening window.

The sprawling hotel has a total of 950 rooms spread across many small buildings. The generously landscaped garden area features a total of 25 pools (two of which are heated in winter), a heated children's pool, and its own aqua park for all ages. Facilities include a welcoming lobby with a reception and comfortable seating areas, as well as a shopping arcade with numerous shops inviting you to browse. The hotel's six restaurants offer a variety of culinary specialties. These include the oriental main restaurant "Saffron" and four specialty restaurants that can be used without reservation ("Soprano" - Italian, "Zum Kaiser" - German, and "L'Asiatique" - Asian, "Culina" - Mediterranean restaurant). In addition, there is an international à la carte restaurant in the food court (included once per stay, reservation required). The offering is complemented by various cafés and bars. For a quick snack, the beach snack bar is available. The aqua park has 12 slides for adults, two pools with 12 slides and water games for children, as well as various pools and diverse sports and animation programs. Beachfront Sea View

The rooms (BF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms and are located directly on the beach with a sea view.

Junior Suite Pool View

The junior suites (J2P) are approx. 60 sqm and have the same amenities as the double rooms, but with an additional open living area and pool view.

Family Room Pool View

The family rooms (FP2) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 70 sqm). Beds for children are available, visually separated by a sliding door.

Deluxe Double Room Pool View

The newly built Deluxe Double Rooms Pool View (D2P) are luxuriously furnished and have a size of approx. 53 sqm. Otherwise, the amenities are similar to the double rooms. The modern rooms also have a balcony or terrace with pool view.
Also bookable for single occupancy (D1P).

Deluxe Suite Pool View

The spacious deluxe suites are newly built and modern. With the same amenities as the double rooms, the rooms are larger (approx. 65 sqm) and also feature a separate area for parents and one for children. The suites have a balcony or terrace with pool view.
