In a quiet environment, you will spend a relaxing holiday at Albatros Sea World. A direct access leads to the hotel's own 500-meter-long sandy beach. The beautiful house reef offers the best conditions for exploring the fascinating underwater world. Marsa Alam Airport is about 60 km away.

The sprawling hotel has a total of 950 rooms spread across many small buildings. The generously designed garden complex features a total of 25 pools (two of which are heated in winter), a heated children's pool, and a dedicated aqua park for all ages. Facilities include a welcoming lobby with a reception and comfortable seating areas, as well as a shopping arcade with numerous shops for browsing. The hotel's six restaurants offer a variety of culinary specialties. These include the oriental main restaurant "Saffron" and four specialty restaurants that can be used without reservation ("Soprano" - Italian, "Zum Kaiser" - German, and "L'Asiatique" - Asian, "Culina" - Mediterranean restaurant). Additionally, there is an international à la carte restaurant in the food court (included once per stay, reservation required). The offer is complemented by various cafés and bars. For a quick snack, the beach snack bar invites you. The aqua park has 12 slides for adults, two pools with 12 slides and water features for children, as well as various pools and diverse sports and animation programs. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

The double rooms (D) are approx. 47 sqm, modernly furnished, and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar (daily refilled with water), Wi-Fi (limited speed), and safe. The rooms also have a balcony or terrace and garden or pool view (PD).

Beachfront Sea View

The rooms (BF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms and are located directly on the beach with a sea view.
The rooms can be booked as schauinsland-original rooms from Winter 23/24 onwards.

Junior Suite Pool View

The Junior Suites (J2P) are approx. 60 sqm and have the same amenities as the double rooms, but with an additional open living area and pool view.

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the double rooms but with garden view and not always a preferred location, as well as a limited contingent and special price.

Family Room Pool View

The Family Rooms (FP2) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 70 sqm). Beds are provided for the children, which are visually separated by a sliding door.

Deluxe Double Room Pool View

The newly built Deluxe Double Rooms with Pool View (D2P) are luxuriously furnished and have a size of approx. 53 sqm. The amenities are otherwise similar to the double rooms. The modern rooms also feature a balcony or terrace with pool view.
Also available for single occupancy (D1P).

Deluxe Suite Pool View

The spacious Deluxe Suites are newly built and modern. With the same amenities as the double rooms, the rooms are larger (approx. 65 sqm) and also feature a separate area for parents and one for children. The suites have a balcony or terrace with pool view.

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum in the afternoon (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Sailing to Edfu in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Sailing on to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Sailing on to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic views of the landscape along the Nile.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm in size and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only a single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller than the suites (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise identical amenities, but may have a non-opening window instead of a French balcony and without a seating area.
