Location

The Fives Beach Hotel & Residence is located directly on the gently sloping sandy beach of the Riviera Maya. The center of Playa del Carmen is about a 10-minute drive away. Cancun Airport is about a 40-minute drive away.

The luxury resort with 662 suites offers its guests a lobby with reception, a buffet restaurant with international cuisine, 14 gourmet restaurants and corners, a burger/taco corner on the beach, an ice cream parlor, and 6 bars (2 of which are pool bars). The garden area features 8 swimming pools (two of which are infinity pools and an adult-only pool) and a children's pool. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included by the pool and on the beach. Additionally, the hotel has a souvenir shop and a hairdresser (both for a fee). The All Senses Inclusive philosophy is at the heart of it all, holistically combining stay, culinary experiences, relaxation, and shared moments.

One Bedroom

The One Bedroom rooms have a king-size bed, a separate living room with a sofa bed, a kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove), a dining table, a minibar, a shower/toilet, air conditioning, and a balcony/terrace (OB2). Also bookable as a One Bedroom Swim Up (OSU).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). With a occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often observed. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are naturally working to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipalities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can cause some noise.
