Location

The hotel is located north of Cancun, 35 km from Cancun International Airport, just 20 minutes from downtown and only a few minutes from the Punta Sam ferry port. Costa Mujeres is known for its turquoise calm waters and white sandy beaches.

The luxury hotel, newly opened in 2019, has 570 rooms. Facilities include 12 bars (including 6 swim-up bars, sports bar, beach bar, sky bar), 7 restaurants (main restaurant, beach restaurant, Japanese, gourmet, Italian, steakhouse and Mexican), 13 pools (including pool with children's pool, 7 pools exclusively for Elegance Club guests, 8 pools heated in winter), 8 outdoor whirlpools integrated into the pool, a theater, a large adults-only area. Umbrellas, loungers and bath towels are included by the pool and on the beach.

Accommodation

Junior Suite with Jacuzzi

The Junior Suites (58 sqm) are located in the Family Section and have 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, an open bathroom with bathtub and separate shower/toilet, bathrobes/slippers, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, air conditioning, smart TV, safe, coffee machine, minibar (daily refilled with water, soft drinks, beer and snacks) and a balcony with an outdoor jacuzzi. They offer garden or pool view and are on the 2nd-4th floor (2JZ/1JZ).

Junior Suite Elegance Club

With the same amenities as the Junior Suite, the rooms are located in the Elegance Club (Adults Only) and additionally feature a private beach and pool area, personalized check-in area, butler service, two exclusive lounges with the option of à la carte breakfast and lunch, 1 bottle of champagne upon arrival, premium coffee machine, and an extended minibar (spirits once per stay). Guests can use all facilities of the Family Section (JE2).

Majestic Junior Suite

With the same amenities as the Junior Suite, but larger (67 sqm) and featuring a terrace with 2 sun loungers and direct pool access (MJ2). Also bookable in the Elegance Club (MJE).

One Bedroom Suite

With the same amenities and location as the Junior Suite, but larger (78 sqm), additionally with a separate living room. (Bookable in the Elegance Club (Adults Only) under code EQW or in the family area with code S2.)

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For double occupancy with 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room; this means occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form. Dinner also unlimited in the à la carte restaurants (reservations required for Gourmet (age 18+) and Japanese). Various snacks during the day. During stays between April and December, an increased occurrence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased amount of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates a slight noise.
