The modern, adults-only resort with 434 elegant suites features a lobby with reception, a small shopping arcade, and an open-air theater. The large, well-maintained outdoor area boasts 3 swimming pools (one of which is an infinity pool with a breathtaking sea view) with sun terraces and a swim-up bar. A tourism tax came into effect on April 1, 2021, and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos or approximately 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

Alternatively, the tax can be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport. In this case, it is advisable to carry the exact amount in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars.

No Smoking Area

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates a slight noise level.
