The modern complex for adults only, with 434 elegant suites, features a lobby with reception, a small shopping arcade, and an open-air theatre. In the large, well-maintained outdoor area, there are 3 swimming pools (one of them an infinity pool with a breathtaking sea view) with sun terraces and a swim-up bar. The international buffet restaurant, 6 à la carte restaurants (Mexican, Asian, Grill, Seafood, Italian, French, rotating opening hours), 7 bars, and the Coco Café cater to your culinary needs.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

This requires every user of a hotel room in Mexico to pay a local tax to the state, in cash at the hotel, in accordance with a tourist tax.

A tourism tax came into effect on April 1, 2021, and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos, or approximately 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

Alternatively, the tax can be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport. In this case, it is advisable to have the exact amount in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars with you.

No smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate some noise.
