Built in winter 18/19, this hotel is located directly on the beach of Uvero Alto. Punta Cana International Airport is approximately a 45-minute drive away.

The hotel features 910 rooms, a total of 10 restaurants (Steakhouse, Route 66, Blue Moon, Caribbean, Mexican, Asian, Italian, Privilege Lounge), as well as a main and beach restaurant, 5 swimming pools (one adults-only), 14 bars (sports bar, 3 snack bars, 5 pool bars, lobby bar, beach bar, piano bar, bowling alley bar, Mike's Coffee). Junior suite

The rooms feature 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, air conditioning, bathroom with shower/WC, flat-screen TV, telephone, Wi-Fi (complimentary), hairdryer, coffee maker, and minibar, and are garden-facing. Optionally available with pool view, sea view, or as swim-up (swim-up available until 31.10.26).
From 01.11.26, also available as Junior suite Waterpark Side with a view of the water park (2JY).
Rooms with direct pool access represent an increased potential hazard for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children in these room types.

Junior suite Rooftop with Jacuzzi

Bookable from 01.11.26. These spacious colonial-style junior suites impress with their private rooftop terrace featuring a whirlpool, lounging area, and spectacular views. The suites feature a king-size bed or two queen-size beds, a sofa bed, and a combined living and sleeping area. Amenities include air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV with international channels, safe, coffee maker, and a daily replenished minibar. The bathroom offers a rain shower, hydromassage bathtub, double vanity, vanity mirror, hairdryer, and personal scale (RJT).

Privilege Junior suite

Same facilities as the junior suites, but with Privilege amenities, 24-hour room service, safe, scale, and minibar.
Extra for Privilege service: Exclusive evening excursion from 6:00 PM – 1:00 AM, including food, drinks, and entertainment at another Ocean hotel. The transfer must be arranged by the guest themselves. (The Privilege Concierge must be notified by the customer 24 hours before the excursion).
From 01.11.26, also available as Privilege JS Swim Up with direct access to the pool (SUJ).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are provided in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between December and April, an increased occurrence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often recorded. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making every effort to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the local municipalities. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which causes a slight noise level.
