Built in winter 18/19, the hotel is located directly on the beach of Uvero Alto. Punta Cana International Airport is approximately a 45-minute drive away.

The hotel features 910 rooms, a total of 10 restaurants (Steakhouse, Route 66, Blue Moon, Caribbean, Mexican, Asian, Italian, Privilege Lounge), as well as a main and beach restaurant, 5 swimming pools (one adults-only), 14 bars (sports bar, 3 snack bars, 5 pool bars, lobby bar, beach bar, piano bar, bowling alley bar, Mike's Coffee). Conference rooms, spa center, scuba dive center, sports and entertainment program. Water playground for children, bowling alley, disco, and fitness area.
Privilege area, rooms with Wi-Fi (free of charge), welcome gift, Nespresso coffee machine, daily replenishment of the minibar with water, soft drinks, and beer.

The rooms feature 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, air conditioning, bathroom with shower/WC, flat-screen TV, telephone, Wi-Fi (free of charge), hairdryer, coffee maker, and minibar, and are located on the garden side.

Rooms with direct pool access pose an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Same facilities as the junior suites, but with Privilege amenities, 24-hour room service, safe, scale, and minibar.
Extra Privilege service: Exclusive evening excursion from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM, including food, drinks, and entertainment at another Ocean Hotel. The transfer must be arranged by the guests themselves. (The Privilege Concierge must be notified by the customers 24 hours before the excursion).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40m x 2m). For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room; this means occupancy is: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

During a stay between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often recorded during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making every effort to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. This, however, requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates a slight level of noise.
