Directly on Playa Bavaro, on the long white sandy beach, this completely renovated luxury hotel (November 2018) of the Bahia Principe hotel chain is surrounded by tropical vegetation. It is a 35-minute drive from Punta Cana airport and a 90-minute drive from La Romana airport. Ideal for the active and pleasure-seeking guest with a wide range of activities.

The beautiful exclusive adults-only hotel is located within the Bahia Principe Bávaro Resort and features 528 junior suites in 11 two-story villas, a reception area, and a front desk. For culinary enjoyment, the luxury hotel offers modern gastronomy in the main restaurant (air-conditioned) and the 3 à la carte restaurants (Gourmet, Italian, and Steakhouse), a beach restaurant, snack bar, 4 bars, and a coffee shop. In the modern tropical outdoor area, you'll find a large swimming pool complex with a large sun terrace, whirlpools, a swim-up bar, sun loungers, and umbrellas. In the "Bahia Principe Village," a discotheque (admission included), snack and karaoke bar, as well as various shops and a casino provide evening entertainment. The sister hotels of the entire complex can be used (with the exception of Fantasia Punta Cana and the buffet restaurants). Wi-Fi throughout the property is free.

Junior Suite Deluxe Swim Up

Equipped like the Junior Suite Deluxe but with direct access to the pool. All JS Deluxe Swim UP feature a king-size bed (SUJ/SUE).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can produce a slight noise.
