Location

The hotel is located directly on the sandy beach "Playa Bávaro". In front of the beach, which is over 3 km long, lies a natural swimming pool with turquoise water, separated from the open sea by a coral reef, where a fantastic underwater world can be discovered.

Spacious hotel restaurant with round seating, wooden floor, and large decorative globe lights.
Designed for adults, the "Barcelo Bavaro Beach" complex features 589 rooms distributed across 6 buildings. Built in a Caribbean style, it is part of the larger Barcelo Bavaro Grand Resort complex. The reception is located in the lobby area. Shops, a disco, hairdresser, pharmacy, and casino are distributed throughout the hotel complex. The property features two buffet restaurants, "Caribe" and "La Brisa", two à la carte restaurants (international & Mediterranean cuisine), and 2 bars. Guests also have access to a selection of restaurants and bars at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace. The spacious swimming pool landscape includes an integrated whirlpool and sun terraces. As part of the "Barceló All Inclusive" program, guests of the Barceló Bavaro Beach can also use the buffet restaurants, 2 à la carte restaurants, bars, and pools of the Barcelo Bavaro Palace.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased accumulation of brown algae is common in the Caribbean during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate machinery is required for this, which may generate some noise.
