Location

The hotel is located directly on the sandy beach "Playa Bávaro". In front of the more than 3 km long beach, there is a natural swimming pool with turquoise water, separated from the sea by a coral reef, where a dreamlike underwater world can be discovered.

Facilities

Spacious hotel restaurant with round seating, wooden floor, and large decorative globe lights.
The "Barcelo Bavaro Beach" complex, designed for adults and featuring 589 rooms, consists of 6 buildings, is built in Caribbean style, and is part of the overall Barcelo Bavaro Grand Resort complex. The reception is located in the lobby area. Shops, a disco, a hairdresser, a pharmacy, and a casino are spread throughout the hotel complex. The resort has two buffet restaurants, "Caribe" and "La Brisa", two à la carte restaurants (international & Mediterranean cuisine), as well as 2 bars. Guests also have access to a selection of restaurants and bars at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace. The spacious swimming pool area includes an integrated whirlpool and sun terraces. Guests of the Barceló Bavaro Beach can also use the buffet and 2 à la carte restaurants, bars, and pools of the Barcelo Bavaro Palace as part of the "Barceló All Inclusive" program.

Superior Ocean View Premium Level

Same facilities as the Superior double rooms with direct sea view and Premium Service (SRO/SRE). Also bookable as Ocean Front (2LL) and Swim Up (RU2).

Welcome drinks. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form or à la carte (4 x per week, reservation required). Seasonal information

During a stay between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, a frequent increase in brown algae in the Caribbean can be observed. This may affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, working with municipal administrations to clean the affected beach sections. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which may cause a slight noise level.
