Location

The hotel is located directly on the sandy beach "Playa Bávaro". In front of the more than 3 km long beach, a natural swimming pool with turquoise water stretches out to the sea, separated by a coral reef, where a fantastic underwater world can be discovered.

Facilities

The facility "Barcelo Bavaro Beach", designed for adults, with 589 rooms consists of 6 buildings, is built in Caribbean style and belongs to the overall complex Barcelo Bavaro Grand Resort. The reception area is located at the entrance. Shops, disco, hairdresser, pharmacy, and the casino are spread throughout the hotel complex. The facility has two buffet restaurants "Caribe" and "La Brisa", two à la carte restaurants (international & Mediterranean cuisine) and 2 bars. A selection of restaurants and bars at Barcelo Bavaro Palace are also available to guests. The extensive swimming pool landscape includes an integrated whirlpool and sun terraces. Within the "Barceló All Inclusive" program, Barceló Bavaro Beach guests can also use the buffet and 2 à la carte restaurants, bars, and pools of the Barcelo Bavaro Palace.

A wristband is required to use the All Inclusive services. In cases of low hotel occupancy, there may be restrictions on the opening hours of restaurants (main restaurant excluded) in exceptional cases.

Season Note

For stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often observed during this period. The beach and sea are affected by this. Hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local authorities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which emits a slight noise.
