The modern and elegantly furnished hotel is located directly on the beautiful sandy beach in Juan Dolio and is approx. 40 minutes from the city of Santo Domingo. "Las Américas" Airport is approx. 20 minutes away and Punta Cana Airport is approx. 90 minutes away.

Deluxe Double Room

The modern double rooms are well-suited for families and are located facing the hotel's tropical garden. They are equipped with 2 queen-size beds, a shower/WC with 2 sinks, satellite TV, hairdryer, minibar, rental safe, telephone, air conditioning, and coffee maker (DD2/DD1).

Superior Double Room

Same features as the double rooms, with a balcony, but slightly smaller and equipped with only one sink (DSU/DEU).

Club Essentia Garden

Features garden views and a free safe. There are also towels available for the exclusive pool area for Essentia guests.
Also included is a private check-in lounge, room service, premium drinks, a 30-minute massage, access to the Essentia Lounge, and a Santo Domingo Colonial City tour (minimum stay of 4 days) (C2E/C1E). Also bookable with Ocean View (COZ).

Adults Only Double Room

These rooms are located in the Adults-Only area with an exclusive jacuzzi and pool, otherwise featuring the same equipment as the double rooms. Additionally, daily minibar refill. For stays of 4 days or more, guests receive a 15-minute massage (SAO).

Swim Out

With the same features plus a private outdoor terrace and access to the pool (2SO).
Rooms with direct pool access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Essentia Swim Out

Located near the beach with the same features, offering access to the swimming pool. In addition to the amenities, a tour of the colonial city of Santo Domingo is included (E2S).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are provided in the room; this means: occupancy: 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

During stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often recorded. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making every effort to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal authorities. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which may cause slight background noise.
