Deluxe Double Room
The modern double rooms are suitable for families and face the hotel's tropical garden. They are equipped with 2 queen-size beds, shower/WC with 2 sinks, satellite TV, hairdryer, minibar, rental safe, telephone, air conditioning, and coffee maker (DD2/DD1)
Superior Double Room
Same amenities as the double rooms, with balcony, but slightly smaller and featuring only one sink (DSU/DEU).
Club Essentia Garden
Offers garden views and a complimentary safe. Additionally, towels for the exclusive pool area are provided for Essentia guests.
Also included is a private check-in lounge, room service, premium beverages, a 30-minute massage, access to the Essentia Lounge, and a Santo Domingo Colonial City tour (minimum 4-night stay) (C2E/C1E). Also available with ocean view (COZ).
Adults Only Double Room
Located in the Adults-Only area with otherwise the same amenities as the double rooms, featuring an exclusive jacuzzi and pool. Additionally, the minibar is replenished daily. Guests staying 4 or more nights receive a 15-minute massage (SAO).
Swim Out
Same amenities with a private outdoor terrace and pool access (2SO).
Rooms with direct pool access present an increased safety risk for small children. Therefore, Schauinsland-Reisen applies a minimum age of 6 years for children booking these room types for safety reasons.
Essentia Swim Out
Located close to the beach with the same amenities and offering pool access. Additionally includes a tour of the colonial city of Santo Domingo (E2S).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be added to the room, meaning occupancy is 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

During stays between April and December, there can be increased occurrences of sea grass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae often appear more frequently in the Caribbean. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, committed to cleaning affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary, which produces a slight noise level.
