The exclusive section of Catalonia Royal Bavaro consists of 284 rooms. Junior Suite Superior

The Junior Suites feature a bathroom/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers, a round bathtub in the room, king-size bed, LCD cable TV, telephone, safe, Wi-Fi (incl.), minibar, kettle, air conditioning, and a balcony or terrace, 24-hour room service, and a selection of different pillows (JU2/JU1).

Premium Junior Suite

These have the same amenities as the Junior Suites Superior, are located close to the beach, are larger and more modernly furnished, and additionally feature 2 sinks, a separate shower, telephone in the bathroom, ironing board and iron, and a reading lamp (P2J/P1J).

Privilege Deluxe Junior Suite

These Junior Suites, approximately 48 m² in size, are located near the beach and offer air conditioning, bath or shower/WC, TV, safe, seating area, and the Privileged All-Inclusive service: 10% discount on hotel services, early check-in and late check-out subject to availability, 24-hour room service, modernly designed rooms, turndown service, beach towels upon arrival in the room, own area on the beach (PDJ). Also bookable as Privileged Romance Junior Suite (PRD) or with a swimming pool (2DP).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). If 3 adults are booked, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can generate some noise.
