The exclusive section of the Catalonia Royal Bavaro consists of 284 rooms. Guests of this adults-only complex are permitted to use all facilities at the Catalonia Bavaro and also have access to a separate beach area, 2 exclusive pools, 6 à la carte restaurants, 1 vegetarian restaurant, 1 à la carte pizzeria, as well as 6 bars and an exclusive spa area.

Junior Suite Superior

The junior suites feature bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers, a round bathtub in the room, king-size bed, LCD cable TV, telephone, safe, Wi-Fi (incl.), minibar, electric kettle, air conditioning, and a balcony or terrace, 24-hour room service, and a selection of different pillows (JU2/JU1).

Premium Junior Suite

These rooms have the same facilities as the Junior Suites Superior but are located closer to the beach, are larger, feature more modern furnishings, and additionally include 2 sinks, a separate shower, telephone in the bathroom, iron and ironing board, and a reading lamp (P2J/P1J).

Privilege Deluxe Junior Suite

These approx. 48 m² junior suites are located near the beach and offer air conditioning, bath or shower/WC, TV, safe, seating area, and the Privileged All-Inclusive service: 10% discount on hotel service offers, early check-in and late check-out (subject to availability), 24-hour room service, modern room design, turndown service, bath towels provided in the room upon arrival, and a private beach area (PDJ). Also bookable as a Privileged Romance Junior Suite (PRD) or with a swimming pool (2DP).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For an occupancy of 3 adults, no extra beds are provided in the room; occupancy means: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During a stay between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae is frequently recorded in the Caribbean during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which may cause a slight noise level.
