The 5-star Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus hotel is located in the small town of Bayahibe, directly on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, close to the beach. The hotel is approximately 18 km from La Romana Airport.

The luxurious hotel has 528 rooms, set amidst breathtaking natural landscapes. Within the complex, you will find 3 pools (whirlpool, main pool, and sports pool), 1 playground, extensive gardens, and a tennis court. For your culinary enjoyment, there are a total of 6 restaurants (1 main buffet restaurant and 5 specialty restaurants), 6 bars, a pool bar, and a snack bar. Double room

The double rooms are approximately 37 sqm and feature a bathroom/WC, TV, air conditioning, minibar, bathrobe and slippers, tea/coffee making facilities, safe, iron, king-size or double bed, and a balcony (PR1/PR2). Also bookable as Premium Tropical View (PTZ).

Double room near pool

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are in a preferred location. They also include bathrobes in the room (NPS).

Junior Suite

These rooms have the same amenities as the superior double rooms but are more spacious with garden or pool view and a balcony, as well as concierge service (JS2).

Premium Superior Double Room Near Pool

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are located very close to the beach. They have been completely renovated, offer a bathrobe, a sound system, and daily turn-down service (DZY).

Junior Suite Near Beach

The Junior Deluxe Suite is 43 sqm and has the same amenities as the Junior Suite with a king-size bed and is located very close to the beach. It also offers daily turn-down service and concierge service, as well as a sound system, bathrobe, and beach towels in the room (JB2).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two double beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). When occupied by 2 adults + 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often found in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local councils. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate some noise.
