. Opening hours: Between 11 PM and 6 AM, car rental pick-up is possible, but a "night surcharge" of €40 will be collected on-site. This also applies if the pick-up during this period is due to events beyond the customer's control. The Record Go counter is located in the arrivals hall (after exiting the hall with the baggage carousels).
Car return is guaranteed at any time (even at night) (key drop-off in a mailbox in the parking garage). Further information will be provided on-site.

• Accidents, thefts, and damage due to vandalism must be reported immediately to the police and the rental company.
• Damage due to incorrect refueling, lost/damaged keys/remote controls are not insured and cannot be insured.
• Insurance coverage is void if damage or theft is caused by gross negligence.

Information

Driver:
Minimum age 19 years and at least 1 year of driving experience. Drivers aged 19-20 will pay a surcharge on-site of currently €9/day (max. €108), drivers aged 21-24 will pay a surcharge on-site of €7/day (max. €84).
Additional driver: €7.95 per day, max. €95.40
Fuel policy: Pick-up with a full tank, return with a full tank.
A valid credit card is mandatory for car pick-up. Only VISA or MASTERCARD are accepted. Debit cards, EC cards, or cash are not accepted. Upon pick-up of the rental car, the credit card will be charged a security deposit equal to the value of a full tank, which will be automatically refunded upon proper return of the car.
Fees: per child seat: €10/day (max. €120)
Breakdown service: 24-hour breakdown service with English and Spanish speaking support.

Additional Information

A tourist tax, similar to a local tax, must be paid by the guest on-site.
Depending on the hotel category, it is €2.20-€4.40 (plus VAT) per day/person aged 16 and over.
From the 9th day of stay at the same accommodation, the tax is reduced by 50%.
During the low season (November 1st - April 30th), the tax is reduced by 75%.
Solo traveling minors are not permitted. If minors are accompanied by adults who are not their legal guardians, the booking applicant is obliged to inquire about any additional applicable conditions from Schauinsland-Reisen or the travel agency before completing the booking.
