Rental car company: Record Go
· Pick-up/drop-off: exclusively from/to the airport
. Opening hours: Car collection is possible between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM, however, a "night supplement" of €40 is charged locally. This also applies if the pick-up within this time window occurs due to events beyond the customer's control. The Record Go desk is located in the arrivals hall (after leaving the baggage claim area).
The return of the rental car is guaranteed at any time (even at night) (key drop-off in a mailbox in the parking garage). Further information will be provided on-site.

Additional larger rental car categories such as VW Caddy, Renault Grand Scenic (5+2 seater) or similar on request.
Rental cars are mandatory offered in the smallest category.
Insurance:
Third-party liability insurance:
Coverage up to 50 million EUR,
Fully comprehensive insurance without excess:
Underbody, tires, glass, clutch, and engine damages are not covered.
Damage insurance:
On-site, insurance for underbody, tires, glass, and clutch damage can be purchased.
Notes on insurance:
•The basis for insurance coverage is the local legal provisions and contractual terms.
•Traffic fines, towing costs, and fuel are at the expense of the renter.
•Accidents, thefts, and damages due to vandalism must be reported immediately to the police and the rental company.
•Damages caused by misfueling, lost/damaged keys/remote controls are not covered and cannot be insured.
•If damage or theft is caused by gross negligence, the insurance coverage is void.

Drivers:
Minimum age 19 years and at least 1 year in possession of a driver's license. Drivers aged 19-20 years pay a surcharge locally of currently €9/day (max. €108), drivers aged 21-24 years pay a surcharge locally of €7/day (max. €84).
Additional driver: €7.95 per day, max. €95.40.
Fuel policy: Pick-up with a full tank, return with a full tank.
Picking up the rental car strictly requires a valid credit card. Only VISA or MASTERCARD are accepted. Debit cards, ATM cards, or cash are not accepted. Upon picking up the rental car, the credit card will be charged with a security deposit in the amount/value of a full tank, which will be automatically refunded upon proper return of the car.
Fees: per child seat: €10/day (max. €120).
Breakdown service: 24-hour breakdown service in English and Spanish.

•Rental prices are based on a period of 24 hours from the start of the rental.
•Drivers must possess a valid driver's license.
•When booking a rental car, all flight time information must be entered; changes to flight times for arrival and departure must be reported immediately.
•Price information for locally bookable additional services or taxes to be paid on-site may change without us being notified.
Price changes cannot be excluded.

A tourism tax, comparable to a city tax, must be paid by the guest on-site.
Depending on the hotel category, it amounts to €2.20–€4.40 (plus VAT) per day/person aged 16 and over.
From the 9th day of stay in the same accommodation, the tax is reduced by 50%.
In the low season (Nov 1–Apr 30), the tax is reduced by 75%.
Unaccompanied minors are not allowed. If minors are accompanied by adults who are not legal guardians, the person booking the trip is obligated to inquire about any additional applicable conditions via Schauinsland-Reisen or the travel agency before completing the booking.
