The hotel, part of the renowned Pestana hotel group, offers a total of 128 rooms spread across 8 floors. It features a reception area, 2 elevators, 2 restaurants (including a themed restaurant and an à la carte restaurant), a games room with a small library, as well as a pool/snackbar and a cocktail bar. The outdoor area of the complex includes three freshwater swimming pools with a separate area for children and a whirlpool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge.

Double room sea view

The double rooms with sea view have a bathroom/WC, hairdryer, seating area with sofa bed, air conditioning, telephone, cable TV (LCD TV), pay TV (for a fee), safe (free), minibar (for a fee), wooden floor with a terrace or balcony located on the ground floor and first floor (DM). Also bookable for single occupancy (DEM).

Double room superior sea view

The superior double rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms with sea view, with a bath or shower/WC, but are located in a preferred position from the 2nd floor upwards (DMU).

Classic Room (FNCA02)

These approximately 21 m² rooms are located in the basement and feature two single beds, minibar (for a fee), safe, LCD TV, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, bathtub/WC, and hairdryer. The rooms are only accessible via stairs (CC2/CL2).

Double room pool view (FNCA02)

These spacious rooms, like the Classic rooms, also offer two single beds and a balcony with a pool view (PD/SZP/EP/SZE). For an additional charge, they are also bookable with a side sea view (DMS/RX2/EMS/RX1).

Suite sea view (FNCA02)

The cozy suites (approx. 66 m², S2M) feature a visually separated sleeping area, a living/sleeping area, air conditioning, bath or shower/WC, TV, minibar (for a fee), rental safe, and a balcony.

Star Tour Excursion Program (subject to change/daily arrival possible):
Eira do Serrado/Monte (Monday/Thursday): Discover Madeira's most beautiful panoramas on this half-day tour. From the Pico dos Barcelos viewpoint, you overlook Funchal Bay and continue to Eira do Serrado, from where you can look down into the crater of an extinct volcano. At the bottom lies the village of Curral das Freiras (Valley of the Nuns). Continue to Monte, where you visit the church of Nossa Senhora do Monte. On the way back, you have the opportunity to ride the traditional toboggans. (Not included in the price)
Porto Moniz (Wednesday/Friday): Departure towards Câmara de Lobos (fishing village where the famous Espada – black scabbardfish – is caught). Continue over Cabo Girão (highest sea cliff in Europe at 580m), and then the route leads along the coast to Ribeira Brava. From Ponta de Sol, ascend to the plateau of Pául da Serra (1400m). Finally, descend to Porto Moniz to the natural swimming pools. The lunch break is taken here. The return journey is via the north coast, passing through Seixal to São Vicente. From there, ascend over the Encumeada Pass (1007m), where you can see the north and south coasts simultaneously. Subsequently, return to Funchal.
Santana (Tuesday/Saturday): Departure into the mountains via Poiso towards Pico do Arieiro (1810m). Descend to Ribeiro Frio. Here you are in the middle of Madeira's Laurissilva forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue to Santana, known for its thatched houses. Lunch is taken here. Afterwards, visit Pico do Facho. Subsequently, return to Funchal.
Levada and Botanical Garden (Monday/Wednesday): The 4th and final excursion leads us, after an approx. 1.5-hour Levada walk (difficulty: easy), to the Botanical Garden, famous for its approximately 3,000 different plant species (entrance fee and guided tour included).
