Location

This beautiful Hotel Quinta da Serra is located at an altitude of 820 m, surrounded by mountains and ravines. The property covers 140 hectares. Funchal is only about 18 km away. A bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel. Furthermore, the property offers a complimentary bus shuttle to Funchal.

The comfortable hotel consists of a total of 52 rooms—a historical Quinta and a modern new building. It features the spacious and cozy organic restaurant "Greenvalley" with international cuisine made primarily from local organic products (certified), a luxurious atmosphere, personal service, and a magnificent view over the valley. Furthermore, the hotel offers a bar, reading room, complimentary internet access, various lounges, a conference room, a covered swimming pool that is used as a panoramic indoor pool in winter, and a fitness room. In the outdoor area, you will find magnificent gardens with numerous centuries-old trees, tropical plants, small levadas, and a small jogging track. There are numerous hiking trails on the property, allowing you to enjoy nature without leaving the premises.
