Location

This beautiful hotel, Quinta da Serra, is situated at an altitude of 820 m, surrounded by mountains and canyons. The property covers 140 hectares. Funchal is only approx. 18 km away. A bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel. The hotel also offers a complimentary bus shuttle to Funchal.

The comfortable hotel consists of a total of 52 rooms – a historic Quinta and a modern new building. It features the spacious and cozy organic restaurant "Greenvalley" serving international cuisine made predominantly from certified local organic products, a luxurious ambiance, personal service, and a magnificent view over the valley. The hotel also offers a bar, a reading room, complimentary internet access, various lounges, a conference room, a covered swimming pool which is used as a panoramic indoor pool in winter, and a fitness room. Outdoors, you will find beautiful gardens with numerous centuries-old trees, tropical plants, small levadas (irrigation channels), and a small jogging track. Numerous hiking trails are located on the property, allowing you to enjoy nature without leaving the premises.
