Location

The hotel is located above the town center of Bad Gastein, offering a magnificent view of the valley and surrounding mountains. This location provides guests with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Thanks to its central position, the hotel is an ideal starting point for various leisure activities.
In winter, skiing and snowboarding attract visitors to the neighboring ski area, the Ski Amade ski region, while in summer, hiking, mountain biking tours, and excursions to the surrounding nature reserves are highlights. The famous thermal baths of Bad Gastein, known for their healing properties, are also just a few minutes away and provide an opportunity to relax after an active day.
The nearest cable car is only about 500 m away and offers access to the hiking paradise; for cooling down in summer, there is a bathing lake approximately 3 km away.
In winter, this region is a true winter paradise, whether you want to ski, winter hike or sled. The hotel is situated directly at the ski area "Schlossalm-Angertal Stubnerkogel," which belongs to the famous Ski Amade ski network.

Facilities

The hotel with around 202 tastefully furnished rooms serves as an ideal accommodation to unwind from everyday life during a mountain holiday. Guests are welcomed in a large lobby with reception and can also spend time in the reading room, at the bar, or on the sun terrace with deckchairs. Culinary highlights are offered in the "Zeitgeist" restaurant with fresh and creative dishes. Also popular is the hotel’s own alpine hut with a biotope, only about a 20-minute walk away.

2-room apartment

The rustic furnished apartments offer a combined living/sleeping room with a double pull-out sofa or Murphy bed as double bed plus a separate double bedroom with connecting door. The bathroom features a bathtub or shower, separate toilet, hairdryer, and loan bathrobes for adults and children. Additional amenities include telephone, Wi-Fi, cable TV, radio, rented safe, kitchenette with appliances, dining/seating area, and balcony or terrace (approx. 46 m², A12).

Studio

The studios for 2 persons are smaller and feature a living/sleeping area with double bed, otherwise have similar amenities as the apartments (approx. 25 m², S12).
