Location

The Valamar Tamaris hotel is located on the Lanterna peninsula, approx. 13 km from Porec. During the summer season, a daily bus connection to the town of Porec is available. The sea, featuring pebble, rocky, and sandy beaches as well as a bathing platform (sun loungers and umbrellas for a fee), is approx. 100 m away.

Amenities

The hotel features 313 rooms across four floors with two elevators in the main building, as well as 108 suites and villas in the annexes Casa Agava, Casa Palma, and Tamaris Villas. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a hotel restaurant, an à-la-carte restaurant by the beach (June–September, not included in the All-Inclusive offer), an Istrian tavern (drinks and snacks only, June–September), and pool and lobby bars, each with a terrace. The freshwater swimming pool with water features and a water slide includes sun loungers, umbrellas, towels, and showers. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Superior Double Room (bookable on request only)

The rooms (DSU) are located in the main building and are equipped with a shower/WC, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, hairdryer, Wi-Fi (free of charge), mini-fridge, safe, and a balcony. Also available for single-parent/child occupancy (1DS).

Superior Room Sea Side (bookable on request only)

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these rooms are located on the sea side and also feature a balcony (SMS). Also available for single-parent/child occupancy (1MS).

Superior Family Room (bookable on request only)

These consist of two Superior Double Rooms with a connecting door and a balcony (F2U).

Superior Family Suite (bookable on request only)

The family suites (approx. 38–40 m²) are located in the annexes Casa Agava (2FF) and Casa Palma (ASF) and consist of a bedroom and a living room. They are equipped with a shower or bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, safe, smoke detector, direct-dial telephone, Wi-Fi, LCD satellite TV with children's channels, mini-fridge, and balcony.

Villa Sea Side with Balcony or Terrace (bookable on request only)

The villas are located in the Tamaris Villas annex and feature 2 bedrooms and a living room with a sofa, as well as 2 bathrooms (1x with bathtub and 1x with shower). They are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-fridge, kitchenette, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a terrace or balcony, and are located on the sea side (V2).

Villa Premium Sea Side with Terrace

With similar amenities to the Sea Side Villas, the Premium Villas feature a sea-side terrace and are 55 m² in size. The (V12) units are equipped with a bedroom with 2 single beds, a living area with a sofa bed, and one bathroom. The (V22) units with 2 bedrooms each have 2 single beds in one room and a queen-size bed in the other, a living area with a sofa bed, and are bookable with either 1 or 2 bathrooms (depending on occupancy).

Double Room

The double rooms are equipped with twin beds, a balcony with park view, mini-fridge, internet (free of charge), safe (free of charge), and flat-screen satellite TV, as well as individually adjustable air conditioning (June to September) and central heating. The bathroom is equipped with a shower/WC (approx. 20–23 m², D/D1K).

Double Room Sea Side

With otherwise similar amenities to the nicely furnished double rooms, these enjoy a prime location on the sea side (DY2).

Double Room Interconnecting

These consist of two adjacent double rooms with a connecting door. Each room features twin beds and a bathroom with a shower (CI2).

Extensive breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet at the Mediterraneo Restaurant. The dinner buffet includes regular theme nights such as Mediterranean or fish dinners. For lunch and dinner, beverages from the drink station as well as local wine, local beer, water, and non-alcoholic soft drinks are included. Selected light snacks and drinks are also included during the day at the "Istrian Tavern." The lobby and pool bar also welcome you to enjoy cool drinks throughout the day.
Maro Club: For children up to 12 years old, soft drinks from the dispenser at the bar and ice cream are included during the day.

Children's pool, playground, cinema, and a separate playroom from 01.06 to 15.09. From 15.06 to 01.09, Maro Club for different age groups:
Maro Baby Club (0–3 years): specially equipped room and outdoor area for parents with infants.
During the high season, a babysitting/childcare service is available with 24 hours' prior notice. Extra charge: €40 per hour.
Maro Club (3–7 and 7–12 years) with playrooms and activities.
Teen (12+ years): Gaming Zone: video games, big-screen TVs, sports activities (beach volleyball, table tennis, badminton, etc.), evening program such as beach parties, disco, or movie nights. Go-karts or paintball are offered for an additional charge and must be accompanied by parents.
