Location

In the holiday area of Kolymbia, in a quiet setting, approx. 1.8 km from the beautiful sandy/pebble beach and approx. 800 m from the center. There are numerous tavernas, bars, and cafes here. A shuttle service from the hotel to the beach is offered 4x daily (included, at 10:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m.).

The small, very family-run holiday resort consists of five buildings with a total of 120 rooms. The main building houses a lounge with a reception, Wi-Fi (included), and a mini-market. The restaurant is located in one of the outbuildings on the hotel grounds. In the outdoor area, there is a small garden, a BBQ area, two swimming pools, and a cozy seating terrace shining in a fresh design with two pool bars. Sun loungers and parasols are included on the sun terrace; at the beach, they are available for a fee. Bath towels are available for a fee. Additionally, the hotel offers several lounge sofas and chill-out lounges in the outdoor area.

The superior double rooms feature a double bed, a walk-in shower/WC, telephone, rental safe, Wi-Fi (included), mini-fridge, flat-screen TV (10 German channels), air conditioning, and a balcony or terrace (2UR).
Also available for single occupancy (1UR/1RU) or as a Superior Promo double room (2RP), also bookable for single occupancy (1RP).

Superior double room renovated Dimitri Style

With the same amenities as the superior double rooms, these were renovated in a new design in summer 2024 and are located in the main building (DAS/3UR).

Superior double room pool side/private garden

The superior double rooms pool side/private garden have been completely renovated since summer 2023 and are located on the ground floor near the large swimming pool in the rear part of the main building. They feature a double bed, shower/WC, hairdryer and slippers, shampoo & shower gel, cosmetic mirror, air conditioning (included throughout the season), rental safe, satellite TV (55 inch) with HDMI connection, telephone, Wi-Fi (included), and coffee/tea maker. The terrace offers a small private garden area with comfortable seating. From here, it is only a few steps to cool off in the large swimming pool landscape (DSF).

Superior double room private pool (14+ years)

Renovated in a fresh design since summer 2023, these rooms are modernly furnished and, with the same amenities as the superior double room pool side/private garden, feature an outdoor terrace in the garden with a small private pool, sun loungers, and seating (U2P) – bookable from 14 years of age.
Also available for single occupancy (U1P/DEB).
The pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We kindly ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk potential for children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 14 for bookings of these room types.

Junior suite private garden renovated

The junior suites with private garden have also been renovated in a fresh design since summer 2023. They have the same amenities as the superior double room pool side/private garden but are more spacious and feature a combined living/sleeping area as well as a private garden with a chill-out lounge, terrace with seating, and are located near the large pool (RJG). Also available for single occupancy (GJ1).

Breakfast in buffet style from 7-11 a.m. with show cooking. Lunch from 1-3 p.m. and dinner from 7-9 p.m. are also offered as a buffet and each features a Greek corner with local specialties. Themed evening twice a week (Italian, Greek, Mexican, or Chinese night). Every Monday, there is a Greek BBQ evening at the grill area in the garden.
In the afternoon, there is coffee, tea, and homemade cake from 4-6 p.m.
National alcoholic (beer, red and white wine, ouzo, and brandy) and non-alcoholic drinks (water, soft drinks) are available to guests from 11 a.m.-midnight at the large pool bar. The small pool bar opens from 6 p.m.-midnight and also offers whiskey and gin.

Note Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01/01/2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
