Location

In the holiday area of Kolymbia, in a quiet setting, approx. 1.8 km from the beautiful sandy/pebble beach and approx. 800 m from the centre. There are numerous tavernas, bars, and cafes here. A hotel shuttle service to the beach is offered 4x daily (included, 10:15 am, 10:30 am, 2 pm, and 4 pm).

The small, very family-run holiday complex consists of five buildings with a total of 120 rooms. In the main building, there is a lounge with reception, Wi-Fi (included), and a mini-market. The restaurant is located in one of the outbuildings on the hotel grounds. In the outdoor area, there is a small garden, a BBQ area, two swimming pools, and a cozy seating terrace featuring a fresh design with two pool bars. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included on the sun terrace, and available for a fee at the beach. Bath towels are available for a fee. Additionally, the hotel offers several lounge sofas and chill-out lounges in the outdoor area.

The superior double rooms feature a double bed, walk-in shower/WC, telephone, rental safe, Wi-Fi (included), mini-fridge, flat-screen TV (10 German channels), air conditioning, and a balcony or terrace (2UR).
Also available for single use (1UR/1RU) or as a Superior Promo Double Room (2RP), also for single use (1RP).

Superior Double Room renovated Dimitri Style

With the same amenities as the superior double rooms, these were renovated in a new design in summer 2024 and are located in the main building (DAS/3UR).

Superior Double Room Poolside/Private Garden

The Superior Double Rooms Poolside/Private Garden have been completely renovated since summer 2023 and are located on the ground floor near the large swimming pool in the rear part of the main building. They feature a double bed, shower/WC, hairdryer and slippers, shampoo & shower gel, cosmetic mirror, air conditioning (included throughout the season), rental safe, satellite TV (55 inch) with HDMI connection, telephone, Wi-Fi (included), and coffee/tea maker. The terrace offers a small private garden area with comfortable seating. From here, it is only a few steps to cool off in the large swimming pool landscape (DSF).

Superior Double Room Private Pool (from 14 years)

Renovated in a fresh design since summer 2023, these rooms are modernly furnished and, with the same amenities as the Superior Double Room Poolside/Private Garden, feature an outdoor terrace in the garden with a small private pool, sun loungers, and seating (U2P) – bookable from 14 years of age.
Also available for single use (U1P/DEB).
The pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We kindly request guests to behave carefully and pay special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential danger for children.
Therefore, at Schauinsland-Reisen, for safety reasons, a minimum age of 14 years applies for bookings of these room types.

Junior Suite Private Garden renovated

The Junior Suites with private garden have also been renovated in a fresh design since summer 2023. With the same amenities as the Superior Double Room Poolside/Private Garden, they are more spacious and feature a combined living/sleeping area as well as a private garden with a chill-out lounge, terrace with seating, and are located near the large pool (RJG). Also available for single use (GJ1).

Junior Suite renovated Dimitri Style

The Junior Suites are located in the main building, were renovated in a new design as of summer 2024, and feature a combined living/sleeping area, a walk-in shower/WC, slippers, air conditioning (included throughout the season), telephone, rental safe, Wi-Fi (included), mini-fridge, coffee/tea maker, 55" satellite TV with HDMI connection (approx. 10 German channels), and a balcony (JS2/JSI). Also available for single use (JS1).

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style in the renovated main restaurant. Themed evening twice a week (Italian night, Greek night, Mexican night, Chinese night). Every Monday there is a Greek BBQ evening.

Breakfast in buffet style 7-11 am with show cooking. Lunch 1-3 pm and dinner 7-9 pm are also offered as a buffet and each offers a Greek corner with local specialties. In the afternoon, there is coffee, tea, and homemade cake 4-6 pm.
National alcoholic (beer, red and white wine, Ouzo, and brandy) and non-alcoholic drinks (water, soft drinks) are available to guests from 11 am to midnight at the large pool bar. The small pool bar opens from 6 pm to midnight and also offers whiskey and gin.

Climate resilience levy information

For stays from 1 January 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room as of 1 January 2025.
