Location

The Rethymno Village Hotel is located in the resort of Platanias, approximately 6 km east of Rethymnon. The town with its historic center around the 'Fortezza' fortress can be easily reached by bus or taxi. Numerous shops, restaurants, and cafes are located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The beautiful sandy/pebble beach, which is 7 km long, is only 100 m away. Heraklion Airport is approx. 77 km away, and Chania Airport is approx. 72 km away.

Facilities

The Rethymno Village Hotel has 137 rooms and offers a reception area with a 24-hour reception, luggage room, lounge with terrace, TV corner, bar, and main restaurant with terrace. Wi-Fi is available throughout the complex free of charge. In the garden area, there is a freshwater swimming pool with a separate children's pool, a sun terrace with loungers and umbrellas (included), and a pool/snack bar. Loungers and umbrellas are available on the beach for a fee, and pool towels can also be purchased for a fee. Parking spaces are available for guests in the outdoor area.

Also available as a super-saver room (only located on the ground floor, SSZ) or for single occupancy (DE/DEA).

Family Room

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms and are slightly more spacious (DF2).

Ice cream is available between 12:30 PM and 9:00 PM, and coffee/tea and cake are served between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM. Local non-alcoholic drinks are included from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, as well as local beer, rosé, and white wine from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the respective open bar. A coffee machine for black coffee, cappuccino, and espresso is available for self-service from 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM.

Note for Climate Resilience Levy
