Location

Apollo Plakias is a small aparthotel in a quiet location, only approx. 150 m from the sandy beach of Plakias. The nearest bars and restaurants are about 50 m away, and the city of Rethymno is approx. 35 km away. The international airport of Chania is about 120 km away, and Heraklion Airport is 130 km away.

The small complex with only 34 rooms has a lobby with a reception (open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.), luggage room, and a breakfast lounge. In the garden area, there is a swimming pool with sunshades and loungers (free of charge, available for a fee on the public beach), a pool/snack bar provides refreshments and caters to your culinary needs. Pool area renovated since summer 2024 with new sun loungers and umbrellas (included) and renovated pool/snack bar, as well as a redesigned garden area. Beach towels are available for a fee.

Renovated Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms have been freshly renovated and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning/heating (included), Wi-Fi (included), telephone, safe (included), flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, ceiling fan, coffee/tea maker with daily refill, Nespresso machine (2 capsules per day included, more for a fee), 1 bottle of water daily, and a balcony (DD2). Also bookable for single use (DD1/1TA).

With the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms, these rooms also feature a kitchenette with a fridge, hob, kettle, kitchen equipment, and a dining table (DX2/G2I). Also freshly renovated with the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms.

Note on climate resilience contribution

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 01.01.2025.
