The 5-star Creta Palace hotel is located directly on the sand/pebble beach of Missiria, overlooking the magnificent sea of Crete and is situated 4 km from the picturesque old town of Rethymno. The resort is approximately 79 km from Heraklion Airport and 70 km from Chania Airport. A bus stop and restaurants are within walking distance.

Modernized in 2022, the hotel impresses with its upscale ambiance and offers a total of 335 rooms and suites. In addition to the lobby with reception, numerous services such as luggage storage and complimentary Wi-Fi in public areas ensure a completely pleasant stay. A highlight of the hotel is the newly designed pool area with four infinity pools, one of which is heated during the months of April, May, and October. Amenities at the pool include sun loungers, parasols, towels, and showers. For families, the new gently sloping family pool offers ideal opportunities for refreshment. In addition, a newly designed children's pool is available for the youngest guests. The beach offers changing cabins, sun loungers, parasols, showers, and a waiter service (for a fee). Furthermore, there is a separate beach area with private pavilions and exclusive service (for an extra charge). From July 2026, an on-site water park will also open, promising fun for the whole family and welcoming guests with exciting water slides and complimentary snacks and ice cream.

Bungalow

The spacious rooms are designed in a Mediterranean style, are located in the garden area and situated on the ground floor or the first floor. With the same amenities as the double rooms, they feature a balcony or terrace with garden view (BG2).
Alternatively also bookable with side sea view (BM2) or direct sea view (B2M).

The stylishly designed Double room Superior Panoramic Sea View are, otherwise with the same amenities as the double rooms, located in the main building on the fourth floor and impress with their elevated position and the associated panoramic view over the sea (K2Q).

Family Bungalow

The family bungalows consist of two separate sleeping areas, equipped with one double bed and two sofa beds. The modern bathroom features two sinks, a bathtub as well as a separate shower cabin. Toiletries, bathrobes, hairdryer and a magnifying mirror are also available. Furthermore, the rooms have individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, minibar (for a fee), complimentary Wi-Fi, satellite TV, telephone, coffee/tea station as well as a terrace. The large, family-friendly bungalows are located on the ground floor of the quiet garden area. Certain units feature two separate bedrooms with sliding doors (FB2).

Family Bungalow Superior

The large, family-friendly bungalows are located on the ground floor or the first floor of the quiet garden area. The bathroom features a sink and a bathtub. The bungalow also offers a combined living/sleeping area with two single sofa beds and a separate bedroom with a double bed, with otherwise identical equipment to the Family Bungalows. However, the Family Bungalow Superior are more spacious and feature a balcony or terrace (BSF).

Maisonette

The maisonette units are located in the resort's garden area and extend over two levels with access on the ground floor and a sleeping area on the upper floor. Two bathrooms are provided. The first bathroom features a sink and a bathtub, while the second room features a sink and a shower. Designed in the style of traditional village bungalows, the maisonettes have been tastefully modernized and offer a pleasant mix of comfort and atmosphere. On the ground floor is the master bedroom with a double canopy bed, while a staircase leads to the separate sleeping area for children, equipped with a bunk bed. The open design allows visual contact between the levels. Furthermore, the maisonettes feature individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, minibar (for a fee), complimentary Wi-Fi, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), coffee/tea station as well as a terrace (M2).

Family Bungalow Deluxe with Balcony

The Deluxe family bungalows with balcony are located in the resort's garden area. The rooms are situated on the first floor of the complex and offer a beautiful view of the flowering Mediterranean gardens. The bungalow features two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms. Equipment includes a double bed and two sofa beds. Both bathrooms are each equipped with a sink; one features a bathtub, the other a shower. Furthermore, the rooms have individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, minibar (for a fee), complimentary Wi-Fi, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), coffee/tea station as well as a balcony (2BF).

Junior Bungalow Suite Seafront

The Junior Bungalow Suite is located in the first beach row and offers a direct view of the sea from the balcony or terrace. Family Room Sea View

The spacious family room with a fantastic sea view consists of two separate sleeping areas with a connecting door. Each sleeping area features its own bathroom with shower/WC. The room is equipped with two double beds or one double bed and a twin bed, as well as two additional single sofa beds. Suite Palace Panoramic Sea View

The Suite Palace Panoramic Sea View is located on the top floor of the main building and delights with a fantastic, panoramic sea view. Amenities include a king-size bed and a single sofa bed as well as a luxurious marble bathroom with two sinks and a bathtub. The spacious balcony offers plenty of room to relax with an impressive view over the sea and the surroundings. Further amenities include individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, minibar (for a fee), complimentary Wi-Fi, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), coffee/tea station as well as a balcony (S2M).

Family Bungalow Suite Palace

The large Palace Bungalow Suites with two separate bedrooms are located in the quiet garden area and are situated on the ground floor or the first floor. The master bedroom is equipped with a double bed and a sofa bed; the living area features two single beds or alternatively a double bed. Two bathrooms provide additional comfort. One of the bathrooms is equipped with a shower, the other with a bathtub. With the same amenities as the Suite Palace Panoramic Sea View, these rooms feature a terrace furnished with sun loungers and parasols (BDF).
Optionally, the room can be booked with side sea view (2BS).

Bungalow Suite Seafront Private Pool

These particularly carefully renovated bungalows with luxurious interior design are located directly on the beach. Each of these suites features a private courtyard with its own pool. Room amenities include a king-size bed and an additional single sofa bed. The marble bathroom features a sink, hydromassage bathtub and separate shower cabin. Half board

The hotel has a carefully curated half-board concept with a large selection of dishes and tastes, at rich breakfast and dinner buffets in the Labyrinth Atrium main restaurant or a selection of à-la-carte restaurants with a credit of €20 per adult and €10 per child (reservation required). Breakfast is available from 7:30-10:30, dinner from 18:30-21:30.
Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are available in all restaurants.

All Inclusive

LUXME All Inclusive

The Grecotel Creta Palace offers a comprehensive dining experience with ten unique restaurants and bars.
The "Labyrinth" as the main restaurant offers rich buffets, show-cooking and local specialties from Cretan and Mediterranean cuisine. Breakfast is available from 7:30-10:30, lunch from 12:30-14:30 and dinner from 18:30-21:30. A children's menu is also available from 11:00-17:00.
The "Barbarossa" spoils guests from 19:00-23:00 with seafood and Mediterranean à-la-carte dishes with a fantastic view of the sea. A reservation is required.
In the "Ariadne", Italian delicacies are served from 18:30-21:30 right by the pool. A reservation is required.
The Zeus and Amalthia Sky Bar offers fine dining & cocktails with a breathtaking panoramic view from 19:00-23:30. A reservation is required.
In the heart of the resort is the Brasserie Princess Ariadne, pampering guests with snacks, salads and family-friendly menus from 10:30-18:00.
The small Kafenion "The Beautiful Hellas" attracts guests with authentic drinks like Ouzo and Raki or also coffee and tea, served in a traditional style, from 18:00-22:00.
The "Talos Lobby Bar" invites you to linger from 10:00-00:00 in the indoor area or on the terrace.
At the Caretta-Caretta Beach Bar, light snacks & refreshments are available from 10:30-18:00 right on the beach.
An additional highlight is offered by the "Agreco Farm Taverna", owned by Grecotel founder Nikos Daskalantonakis, which uses predominantly Cretan organic products. Open daily from April to October from 10:00-18:00. Guided tours and dinners are available daily from 18:30 (reservation required).
