Location

The 4-star Chrispy Waterpark Resort is situated in a quiet location, approximately 200 metres from the beach in the village of Kolymbari. Chania International Airport is about 35 kilometres away, and Heraklion Airport is approximately 160 kilometres away. A bus stop can be reached on foot in about 400 metres. Shops and restaurants are located in the vicinity.

Facilities

This all-inclusive family hotel features 190 rooms, ranging from standard rooms to upscale family rooms with private pools. A water park, various sports facilities, a seasonal kids' club, and a sauna complement the offerings.
The resort's facilities include a 24-hour reception, lobby, lounge, a main restaurant with show cooking (Cretan and Mediterranean cuisine), the 'Kipos' tavern (à la carte, at an extra charge, open from May), a satellite TV area, a mini-market, and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
The outdoor area includes a sun terrace, outdoor showers, a pool bar, three outdoor pools (9 AM - 8 PM), and a water park with seven water slides (10 AM - 6 PM). Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pools, and at the public beach for a fee. Beach towels are available for a fee and a deposit.

Superior Double Room

The double rooms are equipped with a bath/shower, toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), safe, TV, minibar, and a balcony or terrace (DSU).

Superior Family Room

The family rooms consist of a bedroom with a double bed and a combined living/sleeping area with a twin bed. In addition to the standard amenities, these rooms include toiletries (F2U).

Double Room Premium with Private Pool

In addition to the amenities of a standard double room, the double rooms with private pool feature toiletries and a furnished terrace with direct access to the private outdoor pool (P2N).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Therefore, careful behaviour and special attention are requested when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children.
For this reason, for bookings of these room types, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children due to safety reasons.

Family Room with Private Pool

The family rooms also feature a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with two single beds, as well as toiletries in the bathroom. Additionally, the rooms are equipped with a furnished terrace with access to the private pool (R2F).

Note on Climate Resilience Fee

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, will be staggered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
