Location

The Georgioupolis Resort is an exclusive holiday resort, separated from the gently sloping sandy beach only by the national road (approx. 250 m via an underpass; a shuttle service is available on request), and is located approx. 3 km from the village of Georgioupolis and 700 m from the center of Kavros. The famous Lake Kournas, the only natural freshwater lake on Crete, is approx. 3 km away. Chania Airport is approx. 48 km away and Heraklion Airport is approx. 101 km away.

The sprawling hotel complex with 155 rooms consists of a main building and several two-story bungalow buildings. The main building features a bright, new, and luxurious lobby with a 24-hour reception, satellite TV corner, Wi-Fi (included throughout the entire hotel complex), a mini-market, a non-smoking restaurant with a new design, the "Elia" à-la-carte restaurant with a partially covered outdoor terrace, as well as several bars (weather permitting). The spacious outdoor area features a large "Activity Pool," a quiet/relaxation pool with a sun terrace, pool/snack bars, a Meze restaurant, and a grill/fish restaurant at the beach (weather dependent, reservation required).
Since the summer of 2020, there has been a water park belonging to the hotel, featuring various slides and water games for guests of all ages.
On the beach, there is a beach bar and a "Sweet Corner" where a large selection of desserts and ice cream is available.
Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge at the beach. Additionally, there are Bali beds that can be reserved subject to availability (for a fee; included with AI Plus, subject to availability). Pool towels are available against a deposit. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the entire hotel complex.

Located in the bungalow buildings or the main building, these are renovated and furnished with a fresh design. Same amenities as Double Room Superior, but more spacious and feature a separate bedroom with a sofa bed or additional sleeping beds (F2U). Additionally include a welcome basket, bathrobes, slippers, a kettle, minibar (when booking AI, refill every 2 days with 2x cans of beer, 2x cola, and 1x Sprite; further drinks and snacks for a fee), and coffee/tea making facilities.

Junior Suite

The comfortably furnished Junior Suites are located on the ground floor and feature a bedroom with a king-size bed and a separate living area with a sofa bed, bathroom with walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries, 2x individually adjustable air conditioning, fan, safe, 2x 46" Smart satellite TV with HDMI connection, telephone, coffee and tea station, espresso machine (4 capsules daily per room), as well as a minibar (included for AI guests and daily refilled with 2 cans of beer, 2 cans of soft drinks, 2 bottles of water, and 2 juices; with HB, refills only for a fee). Laptop, tablet, iPad, e-book reader, or PlayStation can be borrowed on request and subject to availability against a deposit. Half Board

Breakfast and dinner in buffet style. Dinner also available between 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM in the "Elia" à-la-carte restaurant, the Meze restaurant, or the grill/fish restaurant at the beach; reservation required, for an extra charge. Drinks are generally not included for guests with Half Board. Vegetarian dishes and special dietary meals are offered (upon request on-site in the restaurant).
Appropriate clothing is requested for dinner.

Breakfast (7:00–10:00 AM), lunch (12:30–2:30 PM), and dinner (6:30–9:30 PM) with regular theme nights in buffet style in the main restaurant. Early breakfast until 7:30 AM; late sleepers receive a small breakfast from 10:00–10:30 AM (on request). From 10:30 PM–midnight, a midnight snack is offered.
1x per week, dinner at the "Elia" à-la-carte restaurant, the Meze restaurant, or the grill restaurant at the beach is included (reservation required, drinks for a fee, however, guests receive a 20% discount on drinks).
From 12:00 PM–4:00 PM, there is also a selection of snacks, sweets, and ice cream.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included from 10:00 AM–midnight at the respective open bar: soft drinks, water, soda, various juices, beer, open wines (white and red), ouzo, raki, brandy, vodka, gin, rum, tequila, whisky, liqueurs, as well as selected cocktails.
Selected drinks and snacks are included at the beach bar.

All Inclusive Plus

In addition to the points mentioned under All Inclusive, dinner can be taken daily, subject to availability, at the "Elia" à-la-carte restaurant, the Meze restaurant, or the grill restaurant at the beach (limited availability, reservation required). Selected wines are included; other wines are available according to the menu for a fee (with a 20% discount).
Refilling the minibar every two days with 2 cans of beer, 2 colas, and 1 Sprite is also included. Further drinks and snacks are available for a fee.
Additionally, various iced coffee variations, over 25 cocktails, and a large selection of international brand spirits are included.

For our little guests, the hotel features a mini club (0-2 years, under parental supervision), children's club (3-12 years), a teen club (13-17 years, only July 15–August 31), children's playground with indoor and outdoor areas, children's pool, baby cots, high chairs in the restaurant, as well as a diverse animation program with games, dances, quizzes, competitions, evening shows, musicals, sketches, and activities on various topics.
