The Pilot Beach Resort is located directly on a multi-kilometer, Blue Flag awarded sandy beach, offering picturesque views of the sea and the Lefka Ori (the so-called White Mountains). The complex was built on a large, natural area. The fishing village of Georgioupolis is approx. 1 km away. The famous Lake Kournas, the only natural freshwater lake on the Greek island of Crete, is a popular excursion destination approx. 6 km away. The entire hotel complex is situated in an area of natural beauty, framed by olive and avocado trees. Furthermore, the hotel features meticulously landscaped gardens and swimming pools. Chania Airport is about 42 km away, and Heraklion is approx. 100 km away. A bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel.

The spacious complex consists of 450 rooms spread across two areas, connected by an underpass. One of the areas is located in the lower part of the complex, directly on the sandy beach. The main building houses the 24-hour reception with a spacious lobby lounge, a main restaurant with a roof terrace, a Greek theme restaurant with an Italian corner, a bar with a large terrace, a billiards room, a bridge room, conference rooms, a hairdresser, a jeweler, a mini-market, an indoor pool (heatable for the pre- and post-season), and a spa area. In the annex building, near the beach, there is an Asian restaurant (June-September), a beach restaurant, and a beach bar. The outdoor grounds feature an open-air cinema, four freshwater swimming pools with sun terraces and lawns, as well as a children's pool with slides. Sun loungers, pool towels, and parasols are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach.
Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire hotel complex.

Family Junior Suite 2 Bedrooms

The renovated Family Junior Suites feature a bathroom with bathtub/WC or shower/WC, hairdryer, vanity mirror, bathrobes, slippers, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, minibar (on request, for a fee), safe, coffee/tea making facilities, and a furnished balcony. These rooms consist of two bedrooms accessible via a connecting door. The Family Junior Suites are located in the upper part of the complex (FJ2).

The spacious suites are located in the upper area of the complex and consist of a bedroom, a separate living/bedroom with a double sofa bed or two single beds, and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, vanity mirror, bathrobes, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, minibar (for a fee), safe, coffee/tea making facilities, and a furnished balcony or terrace with pool views (S2).

Rich breakfast buffet in the main restaurant "Kronos" (7-11 am) and also in the beach restaurant "Gialos" (May-October; 8-10:30 am). Dinner is also served as a buffet in the main restaurant "Kronos" with show cooking (6:30-9:30 pm). Alternatively, it is also possible to dine at the Greek theme restaurant "Ariadne" (7-10:30 pm) and the beach restaurant "Gialos" (7-9:45 pm) with theme nights (except Wednesdays and Saturdays).
For children up to 13 years old, snacks, pizza, fries, fruit salad, yogurt, sweets, ice cream, juices, and milk are available at the "Tasty Corner" from 11 am to 5 pm.

Destination information Climate Resilience Fee

For stays starting from 1.1.2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a local visitor's tax.
