The family-friendly Eliros Mare hotel is located directly on a 12 km long, gently sloping sandy beach, which has been awarded the "Blue Flag," in the holiday region of Georgioupolis. There are some taverns and shops in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The picturesque town center of Georgioupolis is approx. 4 km away. The nearest local bus stop can be reached after approx. 100 m. The beautiful freshwater lake of Kournas is approx. 5 km away, and Rethymnon is approx. 18 km away. Heraklion Airport is approx. 100 km away and Chania Airport is approx. 50 km away.

The modern-designed Eliros Mare hotel consists of 143 rooms spread across a main building and 6 small annex buildings. It offers a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a small seating area, a TV corner (satellite TV, several German channels), a mini-market, the main bar "Moon Shell" with a large outdoor terrace, and the air-conditioned main restaurant "Bay Scallop" with a non-smoking zone. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel complex. In the well-maintained garden area, there is a swimming pool with a sun terrace and the "Tulip Shell" pool bar. Additionally, the hotel has a beach bar "Sea Star Beach Bar" with a partially covered seating terrace and the beach restaurant "Sea Star Beach Restaurant." Bath towels, sun loungers, and parasols are included at the pool and beach; gazebos can also be rented at the beach for an additional fee.

The more spacious Superior Double Rooms with sea view are located in the main building and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, bath towels and a beach bag (1x per room), individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, 43'' satellite TV with music channel, coffee/tea station, mini-fridge (bottle of water and bottle of wine upon arrival), minibar (for a fee), as well as a balcony or terrace. Furthermore, these rooms have a direct sea view (DMU).

Superior Double Room Seafront

The more spacious Superior Double Rooms Seafront are located in the annex building and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, bath towels and a beach bag (1x per room), individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, 43'' satellite TV with music channel, coffee/tea station, mini-fridge (bottle of water and bottle of wine upon arrival), minibar (for a fee), as well as a balcony or terrace. Furthermore, due to their direct location on the beach, these have a sea view (RF2).

Superior Double Room Private Pool

The Superior Double Rooms Private Pool are located on the ground floor of the annex buildings and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, bath towels and a beach bag (1x per room), individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, 43'' satellite TV with music channel, coffee/tea station, mini-fridge (bottle of water and bottle of wine upon arrival), minibar (for a fee), and a Nespresso machine (2 capsules included upon arrival. Additional capsules are available at the reception for a fee; free of charge for All Inclusive guests).
A special feature of these rooms is the direct access to a private pool from the terrace (U2P).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool access pose an increased potential danger for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, schauinsland-reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Junior Suite

The spacious Junior Suites are designed as combined living/sleeping rooms and are located in the main or annex buildings. They are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, bath towels and a beach bag, individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, 43'' satellite TV with music channel, coffee/tea station, and a mini-fridge (bottle of water and bottle of wine upon arrival). They also have a minibar (for a fee) and a balcony or terrace (JS2).

Sports for a fee

Water sports are offered in high season by local providers at the beach. Additionally, bicycle rental and a padel court are available at the sister hotel, Mythos Palace Resort, both upon request and subject to availability.

There is a mini-disco in the evening.
The mini-club welcomes children aged 4-12 years 6x per week from 10:00 AM-12:30 PM and 3:00 PM-5:30 PM.

Destination information - Climate Resilience Fee

For stays starting from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from €0.50 to €15 per day and room as of January 1, 2025.
