Location

The adults-only Palmera Beach hotel (bookable from 15 years of age) is located directly by the sea, just a few meters from a bathing bay (a road must be crossed). Shopping and entertainment options can be found in the immediate vicinity. Heraklion Airport is reachable in approx. 24 km.

The hotel has 154 rooms and offers a 24-hour reception, 4 lifts, satellite TV lounge, bar, main restaurant, main bar, and an à la carte restaurant. A pool bar will also be built for summer 2027. Wi-Fi is included in public areas and rooms. In the outdoor area, there is a freshwater swimming pool with a sun terrace. Sun loungers and parasols are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach.

The comfortably furnished rooms feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, individually adjustable air conditioning (included), telephone, rental safe, Wi-Fi (included), mini-fridge, and a balcony or terrace (D). Optionally available at an extra charge with pool view (PD, bookable from summer 2027) or sea view (DM).

With the same facilities as the double rooms but slightly smaller (DE) and without a balcony.

Double room Superior

Offering the same facilities as the double rooms with the addition of a coffee/tea maker, bathrobes, beach towels, slippers, and are slightly more spacious (DSU). Optionally bookable with a sea view (DMU) for an extra charge.

The suites are modernly furnished and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, individually adjustable air conditioning (included), telephone, rental safe, Wi-Fi (included), iron/ironing board, mini-fridge, balcony, as well as a whirlpool and steam shower (DUS).

With the same facilities as the double rooms, the family rooms offer sleeping arrangements for four people and are more spacious (DF2).

Meals

Breakfast/Half board

Breakfast (7:30 am-10:30 am) and, with half board booked, dinner (6:30 pm-9:30 pm) in buffet form in the main restaurant.
Varied cold and hot buffets are offered. Appropriate clothing is requested (long trousers for gentlemen).
Drinks are not included with dinner.

All Inclusive

Breakfast (7:30 am-10:30 am) and dinner (6:30 pm-9:30 pm) in buffet form in the main restaurant. Lunch either à la carte or in buffet form (1:30 pm-2:30 pm; from 2027 only buffet) also in the main restaurant. Snacks such as ice cream, fresh fruit, pizza, and sandwiches (3 pm-5 pm).
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks such as filter coffee, instant coffee, water, soft drinks, pre-packaged juices, tea, wine (by the glass), draft beer, raki, ouzo, spirits (local and international) such as gin, vodka, rum, tequila, whisky are included from 10 am-11 pm.
Water, a glass of wine, beer, soft drinks, and juice are included with lunch and dinner.

Climate resilience tax note

For stays from 1.1.2018, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience tax to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
