The adults-only Palmera Beach hotel (bookable from 15 years of age) is located directly by the sea, just a few meters from a bathing bay (a road must be crossed). Shopping and entertainment options are located in the immediate vicinity. Heraklion Airport is approx. 24 km away.

Destination information - Climate Resilience Tax

For stays starting from 1.1.2018, the Greek government collects a climate resilience tax, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 € per day and room as of 1.1.2025.
