Location

The Melia Sunny Beach hotel, popular with returning German guests, is ideally and centrally located, only approx. 100 m from the fine, gently sloping public sandy beach. The hotel has its own private beach section (for Melia hotel guests only) located approx. 250 m from the hotel (June-mid-September). Numerous restaurants, shops, and entertainment options are in the immediate vicinity. The transfer from Burgas Airport to the hotel takes approx. 40 minutes (approx. 30 km).

The spacious hotel complex, now under the new management of the renowned Sol Melia chain, consists of 3 buildings with a total of 1025 rooms spread across 8 or 9 floors, offering many additional facilities and amenities. Each block has its own lobby with a reception area, currency exchange service (in blocks A and B), lobby bar, elevators, and its own buffet restaurant (seasonal and depending on occupancy). Here, guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. During high season, theme buffets such as Bulgarian, Spanish, Italian, or international cuisine are often featured.
Additionally, guests can enjoy the Indian specialty restaurant "Ravi" (open in July & August, Mondays-Fridays from approx. 6 PM-9 PM), the Chinese restaurant "Bot Pot" (open in July & August, Wednesdays to Sundays from approx. 6 PM-9 PM), and the classic Bavarian beer garden (open in July & August from approx. 12 PM-4 PM) offering German draft beer, bratwurst, sauerkraut/pork knuckle, and fried potatoes.
In the outdoor area, there is another snack bar, a pizza station (open in July & August), and a Cuban-style Mojito bar (open in July & August).
There are 3 swimming pools (one heated from June 15th to September 15th) with a mini aqua park (open from June 1st to September 15th with 3 slides (minimum height 1.20m)), 3 children's pools (2 of which have small water slides). A heated indoor pool and an entertainment stage are also available.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included by the pool (subject to availability). At the hotel's private beach section (approx. 250m away), you'll find the beach bar "La Spiaggia" (open daily from June 1st to September 15th, approx. 10 AM-4 PM). Loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are also included at the beach (from June 1st to September 15th and subject to availability).

Double Room

The tastefully furnished double rooms are equipped with a bath/toilet or shower/toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe (included), telephone, satellite TV, mini-fridge, and a balcony. Accommodation in Block A/B or C. Rooms with a side sea view or pool view can also be booked for an additional charge (these rooms are also located in Block A/B or C). Promotional rooms PDI with double pool view are available for booking at a special price for certain dates.

Junior Suite

The junior suites (approx. 47 m²) offer a combined living/sleeping area with 4 beds and a sofa bed, bath/toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe (included), telephone, satellite TV, mini-fridge, and a balcony.

Family Room

The family rooms, with otherwise the same amenities as the double rooms, have 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms with a pool view can also be booked for an additional charge.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner with show cooking in the 3 main restaurants "Nessebar", "Estrellas Ibericas", and "La Spiaggia del Sole" (buffet restaurants, non-smoking, all with a terrace) offering various themed options during high season (Bulgarian, Spanish, or Italian) and international cuisine with themed evenings during the low season. Breakfast (approx. 7:30 AM-10 AM), late riser breakfast (approx. 10 AM-11 AM), lunch (approx. 12:30 PM-2:30 PM), dinner (approx. 6 PM-9 PM), snacks (approx. 12 PM-4 PM), beach bar (approx. 10 AM-4 PM from June 1st-September 15th), beer garden (July-August) with Bavarian offerings (draft beer, bratwurst, pork knuckle, and sauerkraut, approx. 12 PM-4 PM), and coffee and pastries at the snack bar (approx. 4 PM-5 PM). Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served from approx. 10 AM to midnight at the respective open bars. At the Cuban Mojito Bar, fresh mojitos are served from approx. 9 PM-10:30 PM (July & August). Please inform the reception staff if you have any allergies, such as gluten intolerance.
The opening hours of the restaurants and bars may vary depending on the season and hotel occupancy, or may operate on a rotation basis. Please check with the hotel reception for current opening hours (subject to change).

Sports included

Aerobics, boccia, fitness room, climbing wall, mini-golf, shuffleboard, table tennis, and beach volleyball (on the hotel grounds).
