Location

As the hotel's name promises, it is located directly at the edge of the jungle and on a 4 km long natural beach on the still almost untouched east coast. The distance to the port city of Trincomalee with its various attractions is approx. 30 km.
The transfer time from Colombo International Airport is approx. 6-7 hours.
Transfer by domestic flight (approx. 45 minutes) and a further approx. 45 minutes by bus is optionally available at an extra charge.

The newly renovated Jungle Beach Hotel impresses with 49 comfortable cabins, which have been harmoniously integrated into the existing jungle landscape. Great importance was placed on preserving the natural vegetation during construction, so the resort is nestled naturally among lush greenery, tall palm trees, and established clearings.
The reception area with an open lobby captivates with its airy architecture, featuring plenty of wood and natural materials. Spacious seating areas and clear lines of sight to the surrounding jungle create a relaxed and authentic atmosphere upon arrival.
Culinary variety is provided by the main restaurant, which architecturally picks up on the tropical surroundings with its open design. Traditional dishes are lovingly prepared here using fresh, local ingredients. Two bars also offer refreshing drinks and light snacks in a casual holiday atmosphere.
In the extensive, natural garden area, which preserves the character of the original jungle, the harmoniously integrated swimming pool with sun terrace can be found. Sun loungers, beach towels, and sunshades are available to guests free of charge and invite you to relax in the midst of the tropical greenery.

Lagoon Cabin

The approx. 63 m² rooms are tastefully and tropically furnished and feature a bathroom with rainfall shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, iPod docking station, safe, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, and a balcony or terrace with garden or lagoon view. (LD2/L1D)
