Location

As the name of the hotel suggests, it is located directly at the edge of the jungle and on a 4 km long natural beach on the still almost untouched east coast. The distance to the port city of Trincomalee with its various sights is approx. 30 km.
The transfer time from Colombo International Airport is approx. 6-7 hours.
A transfer via domestic flight (approx. 45 minutes) and a further approx. 45 minutes by bus is optionally available for an additional charge.

The freshly renovated Jungle Beach Hotel impresses with 49 comfortable rooms that have been harmoniously integrated into the existing jungle landscape. During construction, great importance was placed on preserving the natural vegetation so that the resort is naturally embedded among lush greenery, tall palm trees, and mature clearings.
The reception area with its open lobby captivates with its airy architecture featuring plenty of wood and natural materials. Spacious seating areas and clear lines of sight to the surrounding jungle create a relaxed and authentic atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
The main restaurant ensures culinary variety and picks up on the tropical environment architecturally with its open design. Traditional dishes are lovingly prepared here using fresh, local ingredients. Two bars also offer refreshing drinks and light snacks in a casual holiday atmosphere.
In the spacious, natural garden area, which preserves the character of the original jungle, you will find the harmoniously integrated swimming pool with sun terrace. Sun loungers, pool towels, and sunshades are available to guests free of charge and invite you to relax amidst the tropical greenery.

Lagoon Cabin

The approx. 63 m² rooms are tastefully and tropically furnished and feature a bathroom with rain shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, iPod docking station, safe, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, and balcony or terrace with garden or lagoon view. (LD2/L1D)

Jungle Cabin

The approx. 78 m² rooms are furnished in the same style as the Lagoon Cabins, but are detached and additionally have an outdoor shower and a private terrace with a view into the jungle. (DA/DEA)

Beach Cabin

The approx. 78 m² rooms are furnished in the same style as the Lagoon Cabins and have a private terrace. A private path leads from this to the beach. (BS2/BSE)
