Location

As the name of the hotel suggests, it is located directly on the edge of the jungle and on a 4 km long natural beach on the still almost untouched east coast. The distance to the port city of Trincomalee with some sights is approx. 30 km.
The transfer time from Colombo International Airport is approx. 6-7 hours.
Transfer by domestic flight (approx. 45 minutes) and further approx. 45 minutes by bus can be booked optionally for an additional charge.

The rustic-luxury hotel has a total of 48 rooms. Amenities include a reception area with an open lobby and seating areas. The main restaurant, where traditional dishes with local flavors and ingredients are freshly prepared, caters to culinary delights. Cool refreshments and snacks are offered at the two bars. The beautifully landscaped garden area features a swimming pool with a sun terrace. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are available here free of charge.

The rooms are tastefully furnished and feature a bathroom with a rain shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, iPod docking station, safe, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, and a balcony or terrace with garden/lagoon view.

Jungle Cabin

The rooms have the same amenities but are freestanding and additionally have an outdoor shower and a private terrace with a view of the jungle.

Beach Cabin

The rooms have the same amenities as the Jungle Cabin, but are located closer to the beach and have a private path to the beach.

The beaches are generally public natural beaches. Depending on currents and weather conditions, the sand on the beach may be eroded.
